We chose this due its location and reasonable price- and we were not expecting a 5 star hotel but somewhere clean and comfortable between cruises out of Civitavecchia . it did not disappoint- located by a small marina and sea it was also only a quick and easy walk (even with luggage) from the central train station We later found that even the cruise port was walkable -some 30 minutes at my slow speed - so unless you are overloaded with luggage can actually manage that too - if not its only a short few minutes taxi ride or taking the port bus from train station. Our room was basic but had an ensuite - which was perfectly adequate for us. The room also had great views of the sea and sitting outside in the garden you could enjoy the views. And despite a road just outside the garden wall we were never bothered by any noise issues. We also had aircon which was a real bonus in 30plus temperatures….A basic breakfast etc also came with the room - which was more than enough for us On recommendation we discovered the “all you can eat pizza” place up the road too - and despite the language barrier we somehow managed to eat way too much (it was SO good… ) And our hostess was great - so friendly and informative- plus she always replied promptly to any earlier emails i sent - thank you so much - it was appreciated We will definitely stay here again when we come back for another cruise

Nothing- was exactly what we were expecting - but if you want 5 star - go elsewhere

Fabulous location right on the sea front, a short 10 minute walk from the train station. Upgraded to the sea view room which was lovely very spacious and clean. Plenty of outside space to sit and relax.

Maybe some pastries / croissants for breakfast.

The location of Maison De Revel was just what we needed. A short walk from the train station and near to all the port activities. Breakfast was laid out for us early in the morning so we were not limited to times or had any pressure. We were able to leave our luggage after our checkout time and collect it later in the day when we were sailing from the port.

Nothing not to like, friendly and professional with clean and welcoming facilities. The host lives on site and was available for check in and for any queries during our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the B&B Maison de Revel for 2 nights. The B&B is located in a fantastic spot with a front yard that has a hammock and lounge chairs with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly, she gave us a quick tour of the B&B and explained about the wonderful breakfast that was included. She also helped us calling a cab, Uber was not available in Civitavecchia. The B&B is at a walking distance from restaurants and other attractions. It was a great experience staying at the B&B Maison de Revel, if anyone reading this review plans on going to Civitavecchia, you will not be disappointed staying at this B&B.

Great place to stay. We arrived early and left our bags. Julia was such a lovely person. Simple but ample breakfast with cakes cereals juice yoghurts milk and coffee.Rooms lovely and clean including a kettle and air conditioning. Plenty of restraunts close by.Julia arranged a cab for us to the ship which is far better and quicker than lining up with hundreds of others at the bus area for the cruise ships.It was only 10 Euro per person.Fantasic stay.

Very large spotless room with seaview. Perfect location near beach and pedestrian area with lots of restaurants. Price/performance = 100%. Those are the facts. Ultimately however, it is about the "feel of the place". It is very much due to the hostess Giulia. This is a true B&B with a lot of personality. We lingered in the garden even though we really needed to leave... If visting Civitavecchia again we wouldn't consider any other place.

location location location ——- right across from the beach and near great restaurants. it was interesting having a large shared common breakfast room —- given it was January we were one of the only occupants so it all felt spacious. civitavecchia is a wonderful place to explore —- the size made the experience intimate. We loved our time at the B&B Maison De Revel

not quite enough furniture in our room …. given many now work remotely ( as my wife and I do),,,,, a good desk is essential,

Honestly our stay was short, but we had such a great time, we ended regreting not staying for a longer time, but we had to take a cruise in the port and thats why we had to leave. The B&B was spectacular I can say, extremely confortable, clean, cozy, met some nice people staying on the place, the coffee was good along with the crousants and the bed, room, and batroom was impresive and clean. I would definitely go back when taking another cruise.

I liked it all. Theres nothing on the place to not like.

We had a lovely stay at The B&B Maison de Revel , prior to our cruise. Giulia welcomed us and showed us our room and provided coffee, tea and snacks. She recommended a nice walk and a restaurant for dinner, which was fabulous and less than a five minute walk from the B&B. We had a filling Italian style breakfast in the morning. We were able to hang around in the common room after check out, before leaving for the cruise ship. We highly recommended staying here.

Great location along beachfront minutes from a wide variety of restaurants. Easy to find with a ten minute walk from train station. Clean, bright rooms w private bathrooms and very comfortable bed. Very welcoming & accommodating hostess Guilia made us Canucks feel very welcome! Highly recommended!! Photo attached is view from front yard...

Only improvement would've been a small fridge in the room...
