Hotel Valentino

The Valentino is probably the most central hotel in Catania. It's within 10 minutes' walk of all the major attractions in town. It's in the middle of a part of the city with lots of bars and restaurants. The whole area is very safe and the hotel is, too. The ladies at reception were very helpful and kind with maps on hand. The hotel is within an old palazzo so the rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and old style bathrooms (that work!). Sheets and towels were clean and there was plenty of room for my luggage and kit. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. Definitely great value for money.

Could have stayed a bit longer, as, as a base, the Valentino is just perfect...

Excellent hotel and very freindly manager. He offered me a cup of coffee because I said that I was very tired after flight. He explained all sights of Catania. Room is nice, very authentic. Great experience!

The hotel is very central, in walking distance you get to the main attractions as well as to restaurants and bars. The personal speaks English very well, are super polite and always happy to help. The hotel is in an old building, rooms are beautiful and clean.

Booking announcement advertises with a welcome drink and free breakfast, however both is not served.

The room is big and spacious and the building is very cute with the many rustic features. I like the old chic elegance. The location is very convienant. I left before breakfast.

The bathroom needs more modern hairdryers. The airconditioners are also a bit weak. I suggest a service.

The location is great, the room was big and clean and the staff is very friendly.

The door of the room was not very soundproof and had some cracks on the side. Whenever a hotel guest opened their door it felt as if they opened up our door and also the light of the hallway was shining quite brightly into our room.

Hotel was in a great Location, near to Etnea street. Hotel is very beautiful, well designed, like you are living in king’s palace. It was quite in the room, staff is very welcoming

Very good hotel in the center of Catania. Very kind staff. My daughter was ill and Francesco and Constanta have been of very good help with kindness. Many thanks for your assistance! Will hopefully be back for another stay!!

Great value for money. Very good location and as a bonus self check-in at anytime during the night.

Air-conditioning was very weak and therefore it was quite hot during the night.

The bed isn't really comfortable. No lift.
