Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz - The Leading Hotels of the World

We were very pleasantly surprised with a nice room upgrade, even though we booked at the last minute. This hotel is one of the cleanest and at the same time the pet-friendliest we've ever stayed at! Our chihuahua Biba was well taken care of - she received everything needed for a pleasant dog-holiday, and was even welcome at the dinner. Food was very tasty! Hotel facilities are excellent, offering a large selection of different activities to choose from. Nice peaceful spa and very well equipped hotel fitness room / gym - it even has a set of free weights (barbell with bumper plates), dumbbells, and a curved treadmill! We liked our stay here so much we decided to choose one of the late check-out options and enjoyed in the wonderful spa and afternoon snack on our last day too!

Restaurant and spa staff looked a little confused/disorganized at times. Access to Finnish sauna and rooftop pool from outside is not optimal for winter months.

Loved every aspect of our stay! Room: spacious, nice garden view. Huge balcony. Thoughtful details like little hand weights, a yoga mat and more in the room. All necessary toiletries provided. Plenty of storage space to stay organised. AC in the room was a huge bonus with the summer heat! Gym: lovely facilities, all brand new Technogym equipment. Spa: we received incredible massages (best I've ever had). Very attentive and professional therapists and relaxing environment. Pools: both pools were lovely (nice to have an "adults only" pool to relax and read) Dining: we ate reallly well! Breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner were all delicious. A huge variety available that changed every day (meat/fish/vegetarian dishes). Pet friendly: the most pet-friendly hotel we've stayed at. We were welcomed with a nice fleece blanket for our dog, a water dish, a food dish (full of dog kibble), a little toy and more. Really made us feel welcome. Services: we rented E-bikes for the day to bike to Lago di Braies, definitely worth it! Can't wait to return and see the hotel in winter surrounded by snow!

The gym could use some blinds to block the sun (it heated up quickly and even with the AC felt a little warm). From an Italian's perspective, it was a bit strange to be asked for Tips for everything (a bit excessive).

We came back for the second time and it can’t get any better! first time was for the honeymoon and the second time a year later for the anniversary. we had such a very welcoming from the staff as if we were well known, they had anniversary surprise dinner from the hotel. All our previous data were at the hotel as we had food choices and allergies request from last year and it was there and we didn’t have to mention it again. Everything from day 1 until last day was perfect, everything is worth the price and more. thank you for existing 🙏🏻

Nice and very clean place. Great design. Amazing rooms even though not much privacy on the balconys. Breakfast choices were abundant and high quality.

Wifi could be better. It is not very stable for business periods that needs a strong connection. Besides the breakfast buffet, portions were very small, waiters forgot part of the food from our table, so some of us had to wait for them to remake the next course for 40 minutes... did not understand the concept of not eating meat and consistently offered seafood... would expect better from such a hotel and the prices.

The hotel was off the charts. The people and service were amazing, friendly, professional and always helpful. They went the extra mile to help. The facilities (pool, spa, sauna, gym) were all world-class. If you like to work out, bring some gym shorts and shoes as the gym is very well equipped. Or just relax at the end of the day in the rooftop, heated pool as we did. The food was sublime. Breakfast offered everything you could want and dinner was magnificent. A new creative, delicious menu every night with a variety of choices.

Our stay was impeccable! The hotel knows how to feed the guests and has unlimited spa options. Money well spent but regret not being able to plan ahead to reserve spa treatments. They accommodated our last minute request, but we just ran out of time. I usually don't visit the same place twice but this place is totally worth coming back to!

It was a small concern that the water leaked out of the shower area onto the bathroom floor.

The room - clean, spacious, great balcony with a view. The bed was very comfortable. The closet is big and well organized. We loved the workout equipment in the room. The bath was great! We loved the spa building with all the amazing relaxing spaces. we had the best time swimming and then reading in one of the rooms. Great massages at reasonable price. Dinner was great, with unique and tasty dishes. Most of the staff is very friendly and always glad to help.

Both of the pools were a bit too cold for our taste. Face treatment - very disappointing. The restaurant is a bit slow, it takes a lot of times until you get your food. It’s fine for dinner, we liked the long dinners, but for breakfast it was to slow.

Super nice hotel close the ski lifts. Room clean, comfortable, bed also. Breakfast is amazing, tolerable chaos in the morning at the restaurant.

Charging dog is okay, however nothing in return e.g. dog bed, dog food, dog plate, etc. comparing other Falkensteiner hotels like Falkensteiner Stegersbach, Falkensteiner Nassfeld, etc. Also weird when leaving the hotel, you are not getting even a bottle of water, also like other Falkensteiner or similar 5 stars hotel. Summarizing the hotel and facilities are real 5 stars, the service only 4. What a piti.

New hotel, amazing interier, room was big nice, quiet, breakfast was good. Spa is great, pool is big amazing, massage is good, gym room and lobby very nice, also garage for car big and clean. Transport to the cabel car is very good and fast.Gluten free and lactose free very good choise food if you are allergic.

Consignee when you came not good service, ski room not enough space if you have more then two ski, dinner is big problem, food was not tasty and not enough food for normal person, very small portion, risotto and pasta disaster no taste how is this possible in Italy??? Dinner with low protein meals no side dish (you get 4 small ribs and no potatoes for main dish), no salad bar, also daily snack is the same, ham and cheese, if you stay in hotel 3 days and more, you need to eat different, this is not ok for 5 stars hotel, they will need to change dinner concept, we never eat so bad dinner in 5 stars hotel in Italy, hotel is 5 star for sure, but because of bad dinner/food we will never came back.
