Hotel Giardino

Location was great, view from the window very refreshing and calming, not too noisy at night despite being town centre. The hotel staff gave me a 10% discount for the restaurant next door, which was a good bonus, as the food there was really nice. The check in/out fairly quick, the room was cleaned daily to a high standard.

On arrival the room was quite warm so asked about AirCon not working - apparently nobody complained earlier, and the unit is not working at this time of the year, Leaving the window open overnight was the only solution, but it kind of did the trick. Breakfast is so limiting, and boring that on 3rd day I just could not be bothered. The eating room lacks of the atmosphere, is dull and quiet - a bit of music in the background would make it more comfortable. The cleaning tables after guest leaving the table was super fast and efficient, but also a bit disruptive to other guests consuming at the same time. Perhaps waiting a bit longer would not hurt, especially there were loads of tables still setup for new arrivals, but the area was not busy at all.

What a beautiful Location, right on the Lake front. Superior rooms with balcony were excellent, clean, comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good, very fresh continental with other extras. Location was perfect for the Ferry / Boats and Trains. Lots of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend, especially a superior room with balcony & Lake view. A good Italian 3 star Hotel - and Location is everything!

the location is excellent, right at the centre, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was enough and the room was always cleaned very well.

We didn't have the room shown in the photos (which is nothing too bad).. the shower was very small and awkwardly placed in the bathroom.. its door was broken, but it was fixed within 2 days without us complaining about it. Overall it's ok, just the room we stayed is probably up next for refurbishment 😊

Great location, right on the waterfront, right in the centre of town, steps away from the lakeside. Professional, courteous and helpful staff. Clean and decent sized rooms, clean and good sheets. Decent breakfast.

Parking was easy for us because it was winter- hourly paid street parking, but if you manage to snag a lot near enough to the hotel the hotel staff will give you a free parking pass to place in your car. It was winter so parking lots were not difficult to find, but I suspect it'll be a problem in high season.

The view from the little balcony is amazing. Room is partially renovated and comfortable, great value for money. Everything was clean. Staff super nice. Perfect location

Overall happy with the hotel. Minor things to be aware of: wifi is weak, common areas in the hotel not renovated, rooms not soundproof, would skip breakfast. None of this was important to us

The location is just perfect: on the lakeshore and about five minutes of walking from the railway station. The room was big enough for one person. I was really surprised to know that breakfast is included. It was very warm inside the room and the hot water in the shower was really hot, which is very nice when it's just a few degrees above zero outside.

The walls seemed quite thin: I could hear my neighbors talking or using a bathroom. The room lacked daylight due to the shatters which I had not found out how to open. The socket in the bathroom was too narrow for a hairdryer. The air conditioner which periodically turned on and off was a little annoying at night.

Great location in central Arona, on the lake shore, many rooms have lake view, the water is 8 metres away, the hotel has good restaurants and shops very nearby. Excellent breakfast foods. Outside canopy area for breakfast, or sit in the dining room. We often stay in this hotel.

Location excellent. The aircon, minibar/fridge and electrical sockets in useful places were good facilities to have for the low price.Very good mattress and pillows. Welcoming staff. Professional atmosphere

The unused restaurant outside is a worry when you first arrive although the reception and entrance door are OK

The location was great. The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom.

It should be clearer what the necessary action steps were to make sure that bed sheet is changed as often as requested. With the towels it was super clear.

The location was exceptional. The view from my balcony superb. The staff friendly informative & helpful. The breakfast was delicious. All in all a very enjoyable stay, would of happily stayed longer if time had permitted. And I had a bath & a shower, best of both.
