The staff was so gracious and helpful. The service was exceptional.

The walk down to the town center only takes about 10-15 minutes but requires walking along a very narrow curvy road that lacked sidewalks for much of it. This is the only road through the city so there are many cars and you have to walk in the street. Walking back to the hotel after dark made me a bit nervous though there are many people doing it. This walk also requires decending lots of stairs. We counted 201. Not so bad going down but coming back up will surely test your legs.

Great location, 211 stairs from the waterfront and then you walk on the road with no footpath in some places but it’s easy provided you have a reasonable level of fitness. We enjoyed the walk particularly after dinner. It allows you to eat more.😂 Breakfast is good and the staff friendly. Room was not large but more than adequate for two. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. The balcony and views are amazing. We would definitely stay again.

The views from the patio were excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This is more due to the area of Amalfi, but the hike from the town up to the hotel is a little tough. I would definitely recommend a taxi to get your bags up and down. But then you can walk 15mins without bags without too much trouble..

This was a small, quaint hotel which was nicely decorated. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice, although the shower was a little small for us. The ocean view terrace was amazing! Best feature of the room. Continental breakfast was very good and staff were very pleasant ama accommodating.

The location. The hotel is located up the mountain, and the town is located down by the water, making it difficult to get to at times. The sidewalks are very narrow or non existent in places, with the cobblestone stairs & walkways challenging. I recently had major surgery & was unable to use a wheelchair. The taxis were unpredictable & wouldn't come up the mountain at night to pick you up from the hotel. Additionally, the negotiated rate for a taxi from hotel to town was 20 euros. It is less than 2 kilometers from hotel to the town.

This hotel had the most amazing view from the balcony and from the breakfast room. The rooms and the hotel are exceptionally clean and are very well maintained. The photos on the website don’t do justice, it looks 10 times more beautiful in real life. The breakfast is definitely one of the best ones I have seen so far. Big variety of food and something new every day. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend to stay in this hotel. We will certainly come back in the future.

the views are breathtaking and the pictures do not do them justice. the staff were so friendly and you would be hard pressed to find a better value for the money. book the room and you will not regret it.

a bit of a walk from downtown and my wife has eye issues — the cabs charge $20 for a quick ride up the street. that would be my only grief.

We liked pretty much everything. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The view of the ocean and Amalfi was spectacular.

The only thing I can think of is it was a little warm in the room. The AC was just alright. The walk to Amalfi was I little farther than we had thought. About 20 minutes.

Excellent view, helpful and friendly staff, good location (10 minute walk to town) - this hotel was fantastic. Breakfast was abundant, great American coffee. The owners booked tours, dinners and transportation for us. Real old fashioned hospitality! Francesca is a treasure - gave us so many tips and suggestions for things to do in our week in Amalfi.

Cannot think of a thing!

The morning breakfast was an absolute delight. You could smell the aromas coming from the kitchen. Filled with baking delights. Better than a bakery. Freshly squeezed oranges and lemon juices. The view from there was spectacular. American cafe or a cup of expresso or cappuccino to order. I would rate this 10 stars. Amazing. The views from the balcony was breathtaking. The location is only 10 minutes walk into the downtown area. Bring your walking shoes. Lots of stairs to climb. Worth it. This family owned Hotel didn’t not disappoint. This is a well kept Jem on the Almafi coast. I have told many of my friends the experience there. You can not compare when your being taken care of my a family who has through generations , taken care of this property with their heart and soul. I wanted to personally tell them, I and grateful and thankful for their hospitality. It felt like home .

The beds were a little hard and could do a bit better with the pillows.
