Orchid Eilat Hotel

The idea of the hotel is unique I love how it reminds of Thai-places The breakfast was great ☺️ The pool looks amazing 🤩

You can here every thing, walls are very thim

+ Location, location, location. + Asian vibe. + Greenery and landscaping around is amazing, despite all the negatives below, I would probably stay there again in low season. + Reef/aquarium museum right outside the hotel, 3min walk maximum. + City center 10min by car/taxi/bus, very convenient. + Great breakfast

- pool was not heated in January (it seems 22 celsius and sun outside is too cold for Israelis to enjoy pool, some were wearing winter jackets and shoes :) ) - room is really used, dusty, not taken care of, however we saw a lot of renovations happening outside. Room did not looked like the pictures. However we had amazing sea/jungle view and super balcony. Coffee/tea in the room. - when we arrived after 21:30 there was no place to eat/buy food nearby or in the restaurant, also no drinking water in the room, mini fridge was empty. - Loft bedroom is not an option for kids below 7 years old, did not seemed safe.

the whole setting is just BEAUTIFUL!, our room was large, quiet and located at the very top of the hill the resort sits, and granted us the access to the extra swimming pool and the lounge reserved to rooms numbered 800+ (an unexpected but welcome bonus). The large selection of food at the breakfast buffet was a great start, and we were glad to be away from the boardwalk-town lifestyle of Eilat yet be a mere 5 minutes drive from its many restaurants. TIP: if you can, do yourself a favor and get a room numbered 800. They are worth the extra cost (or the begging for an upgrade). if then you are in a group I'd definitively consider one of the villas at the top of the resort. they are large, they are gorgeous, they have a private swimming pool, and the location grants amazing views of the Red Sea. In the winter then they have 30 minutes more sun in the morning and 30minutes more in the evening.

it is a really NICE resort and if in Eilat again for sure I'll call in there again, yet one can see structures are aging. and service, though prompt, isn't spotless. doesn't require anything major (yet), just some touch ups and a renovated attention to details.

The staff was very nice, Hadar helped us with everything we needed or could ask for. The food was endless, the views are amazing, the pool was pretty empty with enough chairs for everyone. The room was great, with a new clean huge shower and a balcony with a perfect view of the sea. The price was much lower than other places, and the value was amazing. Will definitely come back. great place to disconnect and chill.

Everything was beyond expectations. It's a bit far from the center of eilat, so you have to take a car/cab, and it's a 10-15m drive. but there are great beaches and attractions right near by, like the observatory park and many diving clubs.

Rooms comfortable, bathroom great, very good food. Loved the pool area.

Room needed a folder with information about the hotel and services, map of resort. Room needs a hairdryer. Waited 20 minutes for tuktuk when we arrived only to be told we have to get our bags out of car and bring them to door. Car was at end of carpark.

Great location. Nice pool and garden. Out of the city. Good food 🙃

The place isent very well maintened. They do clean but not enough. Sauna und spa are tiny. No direct acsess to the water, only by car.

The peacefulness and serenity of this resort is almost unparalleled for this country. The resort is so beautiful; if you love being surrounded by gorgeous trees and fauna, silence, and breathtaking views, this place is for you.

The only complaint I have was that the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Just too firm for my liking. Good for some folks I guess. Other than that, everything was perfect, and, mlst importantly, as advertised.

great pool and sea view. close to beach and an aquarium which was not mentioned anywhere to us but would be a great plus for families. pool lovely. spa massage by Ukrainian lady was excellent, intuitive and first class and very reasonably priced which is unusual for a hotel. Only a sauna which was good but no jacuzzi sadly. Clean facility and lovely staff. Rani/customer relations guy was excellent and gave us a complimentary meal which was very kind. Most staff good, some seemed jaded, not making the effort to provide the customer with a friendly helpful service. especially around the dining hall, but it maybe a cultural thing.

lack of focus on litter picking and cleaning of dust which was mentioned to reception and instantly resolved hence the comp meal.

Cozy room, quiet place, the balcony view (it wasn't a sea view, but trees view :) ) Good breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere in general.

A little bit expensive, TV remote control didn't work, I think they forgot to clean the toilet room... I'd like to advise to the reception stuff (Ron, Nataly, Hadar) to be more attentive to what guests want to say....:). Finally reaveled that they wanted to upgrade our room to a better one (we didn't ask)...and after some nervious talks we got a good room, but it slightly destroyed the vacation mood :)
