Dewi Sri Hotel

Great little hotel couple min walk from the main strip. Staff from reception to room attendants very friendly. My room was kept spotless everyday with clean towels and sheets. Greet pool layout with swim up bar. I staid 2 weeks here which is unusual for me but felt comfortable. Massage lady really nice and only £6 for an hour massage I had plenty of them 😃 The were no kettle in the rooms but if you ask they'll give you one with water provided every day.

Normally I get breakfast with my stay but this time glad i didn't. Only 4 variety of breakfast to chose from. I had few times at hotel for convenience but wasn't worth the money. Drinks are bit pricy with added tax on top. I mean £1.80 fot a cola in Bali. Snack menu wasn't to bad

The property was amazing at this price. The room that we booked was amazing but the toilet seat was stained badly (though clean) But even after such a great room we couldn't work with the toilet seat. The staff was kind enough to change our room (they even upgraded it) But tbh our older room was prettier and had a better view. Overall it was nice. Pool was great.

The upgraded room given to us didn't have a functional window and had no view (from inside the room) though it was right in front of the pool. And the toilet seat here was stained too, though less than our original room. So, not sure why such an amazing property is not getting it's seat changed🤔

It was pleasant all round. The pool area was lovely with the swim up bar and outdoor eating area. Rooms were good size and great shower, cable TV that actually worked. Friendly staff. We certainly stay again and recommend it to others.

Nothing to comment on but maybe tea & coffee & kettle in the room. We are big tea drinkers though.

the resort was lovely! the grounds & pool area were really nice. set back from the main road the rooms were quiet & peaceful. the Staff were fantastic!

I like how spacious the place, the room, and even the entrance are. The room itself is well-designed. It got most of the amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

I believe providing some extra stuff such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers would be very good. Also, a plug and light switches beside the bed seem very necessary nowadays. The internet connection could be better than that.

Room was clean & comfortable. Kami cleaned our room everyday & left towel swans & was so friendly. Pool was great with comfortable sun lounges. Breakfast was excellent with many options & cooked fresh every morning. Loved the Bali coffee. We were very pleased with our accommodation at Dewi Sri. We were able to walk to the beach, into Kuta & even as far as the Bintang Supermarket. We can recommend Kori restaurant & Crumb & Coaster which are both in Poppies Lane 2 and are a 5 minute walk. We also discovered a restaurant which is a seven min walk past Bintang Supermarket called Jackson Lilly. They have the best Gado Gado & is a little gem that we visited twice.

More comfortable chairs outside the room with cushions.

The Dewi Sri is a beautiful Hotel and my room (401 - ground floor) was perfect - great size, extremely clean, comfy bed and pillows and lovely bathroom / shower - hot water, great water pressure. Aus TV channels and block out blinds so nice and dark if you want a sleep in. Private terrace area at the front with table and 2 chairs, grassed area in front with pool view. The grounds of the Hotel are beautiful - so nice sitting on one of their beanbags on the grass under the shade of a tree with the breeze coming through; or getting a massage in one of their outdoor huts (in house massages between 0900 and 1800 hours - $12 an hour - full body). Pool lovely with plenty of sun lounges. Food is good - standard price for Hotel food. Hotel is suitable for families, couples, friends and solo travelers. I got a great deal on booking.com for $33 a night and could not have been happier. Very highly recommend.

Pre Covid I would recommend this location however post Covid, the more popular location / eateries are around Garlic Lane / Melasti Street which is a little bit of a walk away. So if I had to say anything, it would be the location.

The position is excellent. The pool bar good. Very comfy seats in pool area. Excellent pool towels. Big thick and fluffy. Lots of them. Well priced spa onsite. Lovely staff. 24 hour front desk and security at front gate. Quiet once in resort. Nice gardens. Lovely lights at night. Good selection of cocktails. Overall a lovely small resort with a central pool in an excellent position. Would stay here again.

The bed was definately a bit hard. I would like to see more comfortable chairs (eg like the armchairs around pool) on the verandahs so you could sit outside your unit comfortably. Breakfast selection is average but definately need to improve on the western cooking. Overall I think breakfast could be improved.

Location is quiet, staff are very friendly, pool area excellent, lots of sun beds, bar and restaurant staffed all day til late and 24 hr room service. Massages were cheap and very good. Any room issues are attended to straight away. If you need something extra in your room like a kettle or hair dryer, you just have to ask. Money exchange rate is reasonable too. Gorgeous frangipani trees everywhere….

Beds are hard in standard room, they did provide toppers when we asked, still very hard though, which is a shame as we loved this place.
