The Hermitage, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta

good location nearby 3 parks, (Suropatti, MENTENG, Situ Lembang), a busy road full of cafes and restaurants (Cikini), just 25 minutes walk from the heart of Jakarta (Selamat Datang), and 2 adjacent major malls (5/5) The service was excellent and obliging (5/5) The room was well appointed with a strong homey feel and we enjoyed the small living area (4/5)

due to a series of events, the Hermitage lounge was closed and so was the 1928 restaurant, the rooftop bar and the pool (1/5) therefore our experience was limited to a nice room and (4/5), and an excellent hospitality (5/5) the quality of the food at breakfast did not meet our expectations (2/5)

Beautiful, 1920’s style hotel in the upmarket Menteng district. Rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Staff are impeccably polite and welcoming. Food is first-class. Rooftop bar was a complete surprise and a great place for cocktails in the evening.

The loud DJ music was fun at the rooftop bar, but somewhat incongruous in the swimming pool below (where the speakers are).

The prime location, the spacious and clean room. The sandwich I ordered for in-room dining was delicious, and the breakfast was okay.

I am a bit annoyed during the check-in since all their restaurants were fully booked for events so I could not have some lunch while waiting for the room to be ready. The staff recommended to have lunch at nearby restaurant, but that was not a good option for me who was tired after long drive. I had to loiter at the cramped lobby together with events' crews for half an hour until my room was ready. Operator was also not reachable after 10 pm.

This hotel offers an amazing experience. The staff was excellent providing you help with anything to make your stay memorable. The room was very nice. Also, I appreciated the eye for detail, by offering a nice treat when entering the room for the first time. In short, perfect stay!

The Hermitage is a slice of Indonesian history. Its a step back in time to an age of class and style. The Hermitage is housed in an old colonial building and is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, beautiful fittings, the hotel itself is like a museum. The resturant is excellent, and has a interesting quirk on Indonesian/french food. If you love being spoilt, surrounded by Indonesian history and culture - this is the place for you.

There is nothing not to like. The service is amazing, so if you have any problems, they are sure to take good care of you!

Staff bungled our train station transfer plans. Driver never showed up. They were confused the next day regarding our request for an airport transfer but didn't have a clear idea. In then end, we just hired our own taxi which was fine.

The customer service was very good. The breakfast has a great selection in buffet style and you could also order from a menu.

The pool area was not too inviting, only three lounge chairs and otherwise a few tables. The rooftop garden as well was somewhat underwhelming. Looks best in the evening with a nice view of the city.

The Hermitage is a beautiful colonial 5 star hotel in Jakarta. The rooms are exquisite and very comfortable. Although I’m here during lockdown the facilities look wonderful. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. What I also love about this hotel is that the rates are very reasonable. Much cheaper than other 5 star hotels of a similar level.

It was SUPERB! I found that was a perfect staycation I've ever have. The studio suite room is beyond my expectation, the quality of material in the room... is excellent! The hotel itself in general is great and loveable with colonial touch that bring our imagination went back to the 18th century... my wife love it. Food was excellent. All is great despite a little difficulty in connecting our mobile devices to the WiFi. All in all it was a great and memorable weekend indeed. Thanks for keeping everything maintained and work perfectly... Two thumbs up!

Location is great, easy to get to and from anywhere. Very comfortable bed, the room is well sanitized. Staffs are very attentive and helpful. Will stay here again.

The hot water took forever to heat up and the bathroom is a little cramped.
