Rudram Hotel Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat

I recommend everyone to stay at Rudram Hotel Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat in Rishikesh. Rudram hotel is a hidden gem in Rishikesh. A piece of heaven on earth. It started as a 'normal' booking via the internet. Not knowing at the time that me and my now wife would get an extra family. The hotel staff and hotel owners Dinesh brother and Kavita sister are beautiful souls and very very helpful. I actually have no words for it. The ayurvedic food is freshly prepared by the nicest cook Jagdish. The food tastes like Maa ka khana (mother's food). The rooms are perfectly cleaned. No question is too much for the staff. Everything is answered with a smile. The free yoga classes are taught every morning by the extremely skilled teacher Sachin. The free meditation classes by hotel owner Kavita sister. Everything is explained with a lot of patience and love. Great Ayurvedic massages and Panchakarma are also provided at Rudram Hotel. The masseuse is a well experienced and very friendly woman. My now wife had two massages a day! She stayed at Rudram hotel for three weeks. I had traveled to India for our wedding. The hotel owners offered themselves to hold some vedic rituals in the hotel. They organized our haldi and henna ceremony beautifully. The decoration, food and all the delicacies were perfectly arranged. As well as a female singing group. Me and my wife are blessed to stay at this hotel and are very happy to have another family there. Rudram Hotel Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat is not a hotel, but a home. Everything is perfect; the owners, the staff, the food, the rooms, the location, the good vibe and energy. We highly recommend everyone to stay here!

Everything was perfect

We, a family, stayed in a double sized bed and the room was spacious and highly comfortable. The room and the attached bathroom were SUPER CLEAN and NEAT. The bathroom, wash basin and toilet were spotless clean and well kept, toiletries, towels were clean and hot water was available. The food from their kitchen tasted excellent and pro-healthy, with a very decent menu. Outside footwear stays outside so that the inside air and general environs stays mostly less germ free and clean. For inside use they provide you with a pair of slip ons. The staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful, understanding and very well mannered.

We loved staying here! Everything about the property is wonderful. The location is great, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and quite large. Ours was equipped with air-conditioning, fan, wardrobe, and a small balcony. Hot water was easy to use, and the bathroom was large. There are many services avalibe at the property that you can enjoy, some free of charge. Meditation, yoga, massages, and a restaurant on the ground floor. Our only complaint would be that the pillows were quite high and firm - not to our preference, but I'm sure some wouldn't mind them. Rudram felt like an oasis out of the busyness of the streets, it's relaxing and was so comfortable here. This place was a home away from home for us. Excellent value for money, and we would stay again any time!!! Thank you for having us!!! We are so glad we stayed here! Just a note for other travellers: if you struggle with mobility, there is no lift available at the property.

Super nice staff. You can find cheaper places, but what made the difference was the staff, always smiling, helpful and friendly. I loved morning yoga classes, teacher is super experienced and can guide you even into more difficult asanas. I paid for the cooking class, which was awesome. I had so much fun with the chef cook and his crew.can definitely recommend that.

You can find cheaper places probably in the neighbourhood, but as I said the staff makes a difference and the guys un Rudram are definitely awesome! Some rooms an be a bit noisy, so request the room that are more quiet.

We stayed 3 weeks in Rudram hotel. From the beginning a warm welcome. We were received as part of the family. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. Everything is extremely clean, 2 ladies were ongoing taking care of that. From 8am till late evening you can order meals, they are freshly coocked and delicious. Filtered water is available. Airport shuttle and laundry service are available. There was always somebody at the reception helping when we needed something or for questions and advice. We loved everything. The hotel is located at the very center of Tapovan. Very close to all the cafes and restaurants but also in great location to take a hike to the waterfalls. The staff were extremely kind. The restaurant in the hotel is great. The food they serve were really delicious and well priced. I took a massage offered from the hotel and it was also very good quality and the price was right. They offer free yoga class every morning, which was very well balanced. I enjoyed it very much.

Because the hotel is located at the very center of Tapovan, there is a lot of street noise.

Location is not great for car to go there or park. Had to pay for parking. Lifts are not there so can be uncomfortable for old people with issues

Sachin and his team were truly exceptional. The overall experience was outstanding, providing a serene ambiance and delightful cuisine. The team was incredibly helpful, even assisting in arranging a driver for our sightseeing. Gratitude to the hotel and its team. This establishment offers a unique Buddhist-inspired dining experience and a profound respect for environmental space. Highly recommended.

The location was ideal for our requirements. An easy walk to local cafes, ashrams and Ganga Ma. The staff were just wonderful and accommodating during our stay. They assisted us with booking taxi's and provided information regarding local temples and activities to do. It was like living in a shared house rather than a hotel. Yoga most mornings was great and the rooftop yoga was an added bonus! Love the masala chai. Food was great - all freshly cooked.

Very kind and helpfuls staff, and nice yoga classes. Hotel is beautfilly furnished with a lot of lovely details, everything was clean and fine. Very tasty food and excellent location, quite close to city center.

Booked the "panoramic view" room but most of the view was actually at the other hotel building next to us. So next time we would book another room and save some money ;)
