Lake view is very good, terrace as well.

Breakfast was okay not good as 4-5 star. Rooms need proper toilateries before checkin. Beds should be changed now, very slippery. Balcony must be cleaned properly.

My wife and I had a memorable stay at this property. We enjoyed the amazing view of the Fateh Sagar lake from room and the small balcony overlooking the lake. Their rooftop restaurant is a must for an alfresco dining experience. Special kudos to Tanisha from the front desk for the seamless check in experience, Virendra from the restaurant for looking after us and Arjun - GM from Lakend for going out of his way and provide us top notch experience.

We liked every aspect of this property. One area of improvement could be to train the staff as we at times felt the housekeeping and wait staff were bit too eager for the reviews and tips. It could be just our individual experience and wasn’t a problem. An amazing hotel and we would surely come back here.

Room size was good View from the room was nice (we booked a lake view room) The staff was always ready to address our needs The SPA personnel (both ladies) was very professional. Both my wife and my self were pleased with the quality of the services received The breakfast bar staff was very responsive and courteous Vinita took good care of us on ensuring the pick-up from the airport The afternoon shift gentlemen (did not get his name however, he has a nice motorcycle helmet which I admired when he was getting ready to head home in one of the days) was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay The travel desk manager who helped us get the transportation we needed. Very efficient. Always on time

The room was a bit dated The reservation listed a room with balcony and outdoor furniture. There was no balcony The breakfast bar is geared towards Indian vegetarian cuisine. Limited International options are offered: boiled eggs, toast with butter and jelly ... Not bad, I enjoyed the Indian dishes while my wife enjoyed the toast however, a bit more options may help travelers in the future. An egg / cooked to order omelet station would help

Hotel Lakend exceeded my expectations at every level! Hats off to General Manager Arjun Belliappa for bringing 5 star service, attention, and care to a property that need not necessarily have that. From housekeeping, to room service, to restaurant staff and leadership, to hotel management it was clear that the goal was to provide the level of excellence that guests might receive at the finest resorts in India, and indeed the staff not only strove for this but usually hit the mark. I am more often disappointed with hotels in India than impressed, and Lakend has left a lasting and memorable impression. I hope that the hotel group's management realizes and appreciates what a gem of a leader they have in GM Belliappa - when on duty he is constantly getting to know the guests and striving to see how the hotel can meet each guest's unique and different needs. Again, I am deeply impressed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. To the staff of Lakend - job well done! Please know that guests like me see it and appreciate it.

Pro-tip if you book here: The lake facing rooms cost more and they front the property's very popular event rental space (lawn, pool, etc.). Events can continue until midnight or later, and the giuest rooms are not well insulated from environmental noise. I would have gotten a courtyard facing room, rather than lake facing room, had I known about the late night noise from events.

High end welcome and early check in was made available as we arrived on an overnight train from Jaipur. Complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee also offered while we waited for our room to be ready. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice although mainly indian options but that is OK - we were in India! Room was very comfortable and spacious.

Wifi was very poor for a hotel of this standard which in 2023 is not really acceptable given that other hotels we stayed in throughout our 2 weeks in India (none 5 star) all offered good, consistent wifi. The bathroom was not cleaned as 2 days running the same items (there before our check-in) were still on the floor to the side of the sink table. I dropped something on the floor by the bed and when I picked it up - there was a lot of dust and carpete fluff on the floor. Again - if you want international clientele - these things have to come as standard. Lastly, tea and coffee were available in the room but only powdered milk - 5 star hotel with 5 star prices - give me actual milk - there is a fridge in the room!

My stay at Hotel Lakend in Udaipur from December 11 to 13 was absolutely amazing! The staff, especially Ranveer Singh and his team, were top-notch. The food was a real highlight - delicious, beautifully presented, and the quality was just fantastic. Big shoutout to Arjun Belliappa for managing things so smoothly and coordinating everything. It was easy to reach him and very delight to talk with with him. Room service was really fast. Staff was always smiling and cooperative The best part? Waking up to the stunning view of the lake every morning. I even got to explore the surroundings on complimentary cycles. All in all, Hotel Lakend surpassed my expectations in every way. Highly recommend for a memorable and delightful stay

the room lighting could be better, they have smart lighting system which was not that suitable for us. Like we could not have light just for the long mirror. Also at night it is bit annoying to have light from the smart panel. It would be great to have soap dispenser instead of soap bar for hand wash. These are small things which could be improved but it is not a big bummer

The rooms were very clean and well decorated. The bathroom was very clean and all conditioners, soaps and shampoo were provided. The staff was very helpful and the outside area was very neat and clean too. The puppet show was very fun for all the family memeber more such activities also to be added.

The bathrooms didn't have any kind of locking mechanism. Only a limited menu for food Is available at odd hours and in buffet more varities of regional foods and sweet dishes are needed to be added. The available food's quality in breakfast was a little stale and not much options in desserts. The gym was lacking 5kg, 7.5 kg and 10 kg dumbells.

The property provides a beautiful view of lake and Jagmandir Island Palace. Lovely gardens, pool, and restaurant also face the lake for several opportunities to relax and take it all in! The breakfast is really great - plenty of options and excellent service. The restaurant manager remembers your food preferences and has them available when you arrive! Excellent coffee! The man in charge of room service demonstrates exemplary customer service and items are brought to the room promptly and efficiently. The major sites are all about a 5 - 10 minute tuk tuk ride away and tuk tuks easily available just outside the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here as a solo traveler and highly recommend.

The internet connection is not always reliable. An air freshener is used in room with smell so pungent that it gave me a headache.
