Ibis Győr

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the food was good (some made "in home" like the very tasty "almás rétes", a very nice young lady who is also a confectioner told us). There is a common "kitchen" near the lobby, where there is a fridge and basic kitchenware.

The parking, which costs 10 euros, is not guarded. We saw a camera there, but it does not cover the whole parking lot and there is an announcement on the wall that the hotel does not assume responsability in case of theft. In this case, the parking should be free of charge.

Wi-Fi didn’t work that well. Charged 10 Euro per pet even though 2 very small chihuahuas. Other hotels we have stayed at recognise this and charge for one. Also a 10 Euro charge for parking. So although on searching booking.com it comes up cheaper than others there are these hidden costs. Young guy on duty on arrival in the afternoon not very friendly but staff in the morning made up for this.

The location is very good, close to shopping malls and city center. They have a kitchen for guests, very well equipped, washing machine and dish washer inluded, two big fridges. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking available for 10€/day.

One of the cleanest hotels in Hungary, minimalistic and practical. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast in a nice environment.

The check-in is extremely slow. Even the Hungarian border control police is faster than the check-in in this hotel. It took about 30 minutes to check-in a family of four. The location of this hotel in Google Maps is wrong. You will end up in a different hotel far away from the Ibis. The hotel manager is apparently aware of the issue but the hotel does NOT send a warning and precise instructions on how to find it.

The stuff was very friendly and ready to answer all the questions about the accommodation. They were also able to tell which restaurants serves which kind of food in the souranding of the hotel. They were able to have a discussion also about the music. And finally, the hotel is in walking distance to railway station, city center and also Arkad Shopping Center.

There is no such thing, that I dislike at Ibis Hotel in Gyor.

We arrived at 9.30 in the evening and after checking in we were still able to get a hot snack and drinks from an exceptioally friendly and attentive lady working in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like VIPs and the bed was super comfortable and the bedroom very clean. Breakfast had a very good choice of items and well laid out. clean tidy facilities and staff very attentive

The garage was tight to get in but once in I felt my car was very safe. Finding the hotel proved a little difficult from the street address and I had to switch to searching by the hotel name in Google maps

Very clean hotel, good location, super friendly and helpful staff. Satisfied with a breakfast. No fridge in the room but small kitchen to use on the ground floor. With washing machine, microwave, cooker, etc. Shopping center (Árkád) in a 10 minutes walking distance. City center also. Quiet room.

Great staff, good location, comfortable rooms

The hotel could really use a renovation and breakfast lacked variety, which was a little disappointing considering the price. Also, the underground parking spots were strange metal ramps that couldn’t hold cars over 2T, making it necessary for us to leave a car outside.

10 mins walk from train station, pretty convenient. Super helpful and friendly staff. They speak English well. They also offered me a city map while checking in. Delicious breakfast. The room is clean and comfortable.

Staff are really kind. The room is great. We have our son with us, and he sleeps on an extra bed. Still plate of space in the room. Breakfast is excellent. The location is good, too. Walking distance from city centre.
