Easy Star Hotel

Good location: 5 min walking to a metro station. Not far from atractions such as the Cathedral and the Opera House. Felt like it was quite clean.

Limited (which makes sense given the price), but personally not tasteful breakfast. Not very good sound isolation. Locker too small to fit any notebook. Room a bit small, if you have two bigger bags it might be a strugle to find a good place for them.

Nice hotel in Pest halfway Danube river and Széchenyi baths, close to Andrássy ut, so not far from the hotel you can find several restaurants and shops. The room was good with much light from 2 big windows, it was quiet at night. Wifi good. Breakfast correct. Close to metro.

The location was great . It was very QUIET so that was a big plus . The reception staff where fantastic and accommodating in my requests . YES there is 24/7 reception service. The breakfast although it was held at the basement the choices where adequate and the service was nice. The breakfast included - scrambled eggs, sausage, cornflakes , fresh bread 🍞 which you could make toast . cheese , ham , salami , mortadella marmalades. for drinks juices and coffee . Well done for the choices . I would sure visit this hotel again .

Everything was great . However just like the rest of the comments the cleaning needs a little more attention . Personally it didn’t bother me , it was adequate . Please don’t expect 4-seasons style room service . Lets be realistic on the expectations.

- close to metro and bus stations - very close to the centre (Andrassy Utca, Oktogon) - clean bathroom with hot water - 24 h reception, so easy to check in even at night - good breakfast - good price vs. quality - friendly staff

- very small room - only one towel in the bathroom (I didn't need another one, but it would have been nice to have one small and one large towel) - very old TV - lack of intimacy: the window was facing an inner court and i felt that people can pass right next to my window, so I had to stay with curtains

I liked the room, it was spacious. Breakfast was healthy and sufficient to provide necessary energy needed for the tourist's day. A hundred meters away was the junction to Andrassy Ut so it was central.

When I checked in, there was a grumpy bad-tempered old woman at the reception, she was unpleasant and off-putting. Unfortunately I did not get her name, and fortunately I never saw her again in the 5 days I was at the hotel. The other staff were really nice and helpful, reception staff were pleasant and cooperative.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. The central location of the hotel was excellent, just 3 minutes from the Kodaly Korond Metro Station which is on Andrassy Road - the most famous "Champs Elysses" of Budapest. All the main sights are withing an hour walking distance. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed fantastic scrambled eggs, plenty of vegetables and tasty Hungarian bread. Many thanks for your hospitality, ladies! We´ll come back again.

We stayed as a family in 3 different rooms of which two were really cold namely room number 4 and 6 downstairs, compared to room number 5 which was perfect in all aspects well-equipped, heated). Room number 4 was furnished in an old worn out style and the walls were really thin, so you could hear every word of your neighbours´ talk.

This Hotel is near the Metro and bus stop so you can easily access the city Center and also the airport and the people are so helpful in this city.

I liked the breakfast, simple but with variety of salty and sweet options. I liked the room and the hall. The best part was the location. Near the metro and Liszt museum ,great connection with the airport bus(no need to change line), close to the park and some of the baths, close to hidden but maybe even better restaurants, better overall than staying in front of the central road with the traffic. Great staff. Better internet connection that some other hotels in Budapest. Surprisingly I loved the fact that they gave me an actual key! :)

The only real disadvantage is the fact that the place does not have an elevator, as some other hotels of Budapest. I would maybe add some more few toiletries in each room , and add some fruit on the breakfast.

The hotel is a great place to stay for everyone who is looking for a simple, lower budget accommodation not to far from the city centre. The Metro station is 3 minutes away, from there 5 minutes to the city centre (on foot about 25 minutes). Plenty of take-aways, supermarkets, cafés, bars landmarks (e.g. Andrassy Avenue, Heroes' Square, Franz Liszt Square, »House of Terror« museum), etc. within walking distance. Sufficiently clean, plenty of hot water in the shower, scrambled eggs & sausages for breakfast. The staff was friendly at all times. Also: The hotel is only 30 minutes away on foot from the Budapest-Keleti station and easy to find - I would definitely come again!

The walls aren't very thick, so you can hear some noise from the neighbouring rooms, but this is effectively not too much of an issue. Also: The backward facing view (i.e. into the backyard) isn't the prettiest, but hey: Budapest is a city of amazing beauty, the view from one's budget hotel window shouldn't matter much ;-)

It is not so far from the centre, and the city is very big. Personnel is very kind and supportive, checkin 24 hours. The breakfast is good and complete. The bathroom is adequate for the price. The room is not so big, but has an enough size for the price.

The building is old, that is not a problem, all the centre of the city is colonial. But the interior of the hotel need a reform. The TV is very old, not like in the photos, the door is fragile, however, there is no problem of security in the area and in the building, and there are personnel 24 hours present, what made me fell safe. The fan is not strong enough for the hot weather in Europe in these days.
