Ifestos Hotel

Nice rooms , friendly staff, nice beach restaurant 5 min away.

Parking could be difficult, Breakfast was the same each day, wifi did not work too well in my room.

The location is very good, close to the beach and the town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, it is very clean and has many sitting areas and a swimming pool. The view from the room balcony was very nice and we can see the castle in the distance.

The breakfast could have better quality food. It would be nice if they had some local Greek foods.

We loved the front desk staff and knowing there was a friendly face upon arrival.

Rooms were small

Spotless absolutely spotless, I felt very comfortable that they took every measure possible to stay safe and clean.

I travel very often and I have never seen so polite personnel.I thank very much every one of them.The service and the breakfast was very good.

Nothing.

It was within a short walk of a decent beach. The property was clean. The hotel has a pleasant outdoor veranda on the main floor with comfortable seating.

The hotel caters to large tour groups and for us, this impacted the ‘included’ breakfast buffet. We were unable to get much more than coffee for breakfast most mornings. Most of this situation was not the hotel managements fault except that they might consider hiring more help for cooking, maintaining buffet and clearing tables during these onslaughts. The tour group descended on the breakfast area like locusts and wiped the place out, leaving only a mess for the one single woman working there to frantically clean up. We saw folks even making sandwiches to take with them on their tour before leaving on bus. We were only told, sorry, by the management, they said it couldn’t be helped, and could only offer that we could wait till later in the hopes that more food would be put out, however, we tried this strategy and food was only slowly being replaced and only minimally. So, anyway, we found ourselves having to walk into town for coffee and breakfast despite it being technically included in our price. Besides the breakfast fiasco, the property is a very average Greek hotel with small rooms and a funky, awkward small bathroom (i.e. you have to step in shower to close the door to reach the toilet).

Located close to Richa Nera beach and dowtown Mirina

Unfortunately extremely rude owner and indifferent staff, had to ask the cleaning ladies for shampoos and toilet paper as they were not replacing them daily, elevator was not functioning the first 2 days of our stay, poor breakfast, small swimming pool under a shed so was not really used, 2 people staying in a 3-bed room so there was no space to move.
