Rooms were very clean and neat. Apart rooms were big, nice and convenient. Kitchen facility was also nice with the diswasher tablets and so on.

The pillows were uncomfortable. Some of them were so thin and should not even be used. In the spare duvet, there was no cover provided. The sofa bed was old and making a lot of noise everytime we turned. Main hotelbuilding with the spa is a bit away from the apart section (distance written in the booking). You have to go up and down the hill. Especially in winter, it was a big hassle to wear the coats and shoes to go back to the room after the spa or breakfast. Breakfast was not great compared to the price. Children are also charged with a small discount. There was black coffee provided, bit there was no coffee machine for cappuccino, etc.

Nice fireplace area, decent swimming pool (with extra charge), well-equipped apartments, friendly staff. It’s a bit off the center but you can walk most of the places in 5-10min. Walking to closest slope is also possible but takes a bit longer. Overall it’s a very good value for money compared to more central accommodation options.

EV-charger was not working. You have to inform them 1 day in advance for breakfast so cannot decide simultaneously. Sofa bed in the apartment is not very comfortable to sleep on. Apartments are not in the main building and you have to walk a short distance.

- Very good service, even free prosecco drink after the check-in at the reception. - Very friendly staff and clean room. - Apartment (# 1-20) was about 200 m from the hotel at a quiet area (near the Parkplatz Kreuzbergweg) - Close to the forest (around Parkplatz Kreuzbergweg) for some nice walkings and views over the area of Winterberg. - Only 10 min walking to city center or supermarket (Lidl). - Good heating at the apartment.

- Relatively hard mattresses - No oven and dishwasher

Quick check in and check out. Good facilities with pool and sauna. Free parking. Nice room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good enough, not suuuuper variated, but it was good. Also heated ski-depot which is nice.

Pool was not very warm. A little too cold for me. But still good to take a quick swim after skiing. Matrasses were cheap spring Matrasses. Still had a good sleep, but not the best matrass. Breakfast could be more variated.

love the exterior and interior layout. both balconies have good view, facing the neighborhood and forest. love the open concept kitchen. love the many windows making the apartment very bright and lots of power socket everywhere. we stayed at the last house, so walk about 10 mins to bus stop, rewe, bessmann, tedi and other shops and eateries.

shower area is too small even for my petite size. no toiletries for bathroom, only a tiny soap, very disappointed, luckily I got a small bottle of shower gel with me. oven is not working. pool is really small but I enjoyed the sauna. need to walk 300 meters to the main building for check in and out, under the rain…

Good and clean rooms, nice location, friendly personal, tasty diner, bathrobe and slipper set in rooms

- Breakfast was ok, but personal could be more available for example to get Scrambled eggs. - We couldn't use the Spa because it closed too early for us (we would suggest to have it open till 22:00 or later). - No coffee or thee in the room

spacious and clean hotel well maintained. nice indoor swimming pool and spa. generally staff was nice

restaurant and bar staff was very nice, the second day staff at front office as well, however when we were checked in the person at the desk did not seem happy to be there. no explanation, we had to ask everything, did not take the opportunity to explain hotel facility, but just gave the key. if the check in would have been better i would rate this hotel as very good but first impression was average. also my suggestion is that restaurant menu and any other communication should be in English as well, understanding that not everyone speaks German. pillows provided are uncomfortable as well as mattresses, small shower head can and should be improved let’s not forget the basic of a hotel is the bed and a shower in the morning

Our room was well equipped and clean. We were a group of 8 on motorcycles it was good that we could park our bikes outside our rooms. Swimming pool was excellent and changing facilities. The receptionist was polite and a good understanding of our language. Thank you for a great stay in winterberg.

Direction to our room

Very central location to Winterbergen town and surrounding areas. Quiet and warm sleep. Well equipped apartment with enough kitchenware and lots of storage.

Charge of swimming pool too expensive (specially for a family of three-four) or unnecessary, considering that probably one does not spend there the all day.

Location was perfect for the bike park and close to the small centre of winterberg. Breakfast was great as was the restaurant for evening meals. Spa is small but nice to relax and read a book.

The plastic mattress protectors on the beds. We ended up taking them off as they made us so hot.
