Rooms are big and clean, staff was very friendly. Amazing pianist was playing in the evening. Very dog friendly. Fruits choice for breakfast was great

Stanislaw who works at the door is an incredible asset to this hotel. I also really appreciated the breakfast crew and we moved the upgraded room we recieved. Thank you so much for that. Food is also excellent

All is really good, even though for my taste the waiters on the terrace and in the restaurants are a bit too functional for my taste. I like a more personal style better. Still this is nick picking. Full marks

Facilities, size of the room, location, staff.

The only thing worth of mention is about the air conditioning of the room. It did not work properly. I was told that this type of air conditioning was through the walls with gas pipes. Howerver it didn´t work. The staff solved the problem by bringing a portable air conditioning. I think the hotel should be more specific about it in the description of the room.

The setting on the terrace for breakfast was spectacular..... so beautiful.... and the breakfast selections were so varied and delicious, something for everyone. Loved the attentive service and the friendliness of all the staff, always a smile and a good day.

We thought the whole visit was just perfect, I cannot think of anything negative to say or criticize.

We stayed for our 2nd wedding anniversary. It was our 2nd time stay (last time was with my wife, and this time welcoming our new born baby). The room, facility and staffs are truly excellent, we could enjoy the every moments in this hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is luxurious I used to go more then 15 years ago when It was new built They use to keep The same excellent level is maintained with advances in cuisine and more entertainment and electronic means. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the stunning natural scenery.

The mattress

Excellent location on lake Tegernsee, fantastic facilities throughout the property, including direct access to swim in the lake. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff all welcoming and helpful for a traveling family.

Tegernsee is a little slice of heaven and this hotel is a wonderful place to soak it all in! Located right on the edge of the lake, with an incredibly charming town just a few minutes walk away, you feel like you're properly on vacation from the minute you arrive. One of our rooms was an upgraded suite which was fabulous. The superior room facing the lake was a bit dated and small, but still had a nice terrace and a sliver view of the water. The private beach bathing area consists of chaise lounges at water's edge and was a great place to relax and dip in the invigorating (19 degree!) water. We ate at the restaurant, had cake and drinks on the terrace, and enjoyed meals in town. Make sure in high season you ask the concierge to make some reservations ahead of your stay. All in all, it's very idyllic.

Breakfast wasn't our favorite but I think it was a factor of Covid restrictions, not the restaurant itself. Instead of a typical German buffet, you had to ask for what you wanted and with our limited German it was a bit intimidating. I also wish we had known to book dinner reservations ahead of time as all hotel restaurants were totally booked during our stay but the concierge did help us find lovely places to eat in Rottach-Egern.

Excellent services and staff, good location which is about 50 km from Munich, spa and pool are nice but crowded, restaurants are perfect

We visit here as 1st year anniversary of the marriage. The place is very clean and gorgeous. the staff are nice and well educated. More than anything, we loved the spa! it’s so well equipped and relaxing. we will definitely come back soon.
