Melter Hotel & Apartments - a Neighborhood Hotel

Awesome staff, they are helpful in everything. We arrived late and even though nobody was in the reception due to the off hours, they provided detailed instructions for us to access the keys Location. It is just a straight line walk from Hauptbahnhof and within the city centre. You just have to know where you're exiting and walking into, or else you'll reach it by circling far away Room and facilities. They are what every serviced apartment guests would be looking for. The daily complimentary housekeeping option is an icing on the cake. The restaurant just beside it (in which they recommended) has awesome ramen for a place outside Japan. Actually the only ramen place in Europe which got a thumbs up from me so far. All in all, this place has become my standard for what a serviced apartment is supposed to be.

Location was perfect, bed was so comfortable shower was powerful, WiFi good, bedding was really good quality...we loved everything! Our room was spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they all spoke excellent English. Fabiana in particular is a credit to the hotel, such a lovely woman, we felt so welcomed when we arrived. The Japanese restaurant is amazing, we went twice it was so good!

Absolutely nothing to fault. For once there was nothing at all that we needed or didn't have and nothing that could have been improved!

Great Hotel in the center of Nurnberg, staff very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely designed and spacious. Breakfast great and restaurants Monki highly recommended. Will definitely stay here if back to Nurnberg. U ban to the Messe just outside the Hotel.

Lovely contemporary room in a fantastic location in the heart of Nuremberg old town, within walking distance of the main train station & the old town attractions. This hotel has a guest laundry free of charge which was much appreciated, more hotels should provide laundry facilities. The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful.

The room had a kitchenette however it did not have a microwave or toaster. Also, there is no plug provided for the kitchen sink as the housekeeping staff wash the dishes, this is great, but the hotel needs to invest in providing more cutlery & crockery.

Best hotel we have stayed in. We loved the room design. Everything was functional, minimal and very well thought through. No silly clutter. Room was spacious and well insulated. You couldn't hear the street or the other guests at all. Thick luxurious curtains, not a ray of light comes through if, like me, you prefer it nice and dark at night. Air conditioning was a big bonus since it was 30+ celcius outside. Bathroom was sheer luxury. Staff was very helpful and yet we were given our privacy. Thank you all!

Only one English language TV channel (France 24 in English - odd choice).

What a great little hotel! Exceptional rooms, amazing service, everything you need for a business or personal trip in an excellent central location. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Nuremberg!

The only minus from me is that the wifi signal on the top floor (4th) was not always great unfortunately. Everywhere else in the building was perfect, but I'd suggest to the property that they check the signal on the top floor and potentially install some more routers / extenders. PLEASE NOTE: It still WORKED, it's just the transfer speeds were very up and down (and sometimes super low) which if you're travelling for business is not ideal.

We arrived quite early in the morning having come by an early train. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from the station which is a great advantage. Our room wasn't ready when we got there, but the lady on reception had a quick look on her system and upgraded us to a room that was ready and was one of their suites! This was such fantastic service, totally unexpected and was greatly appreciated by us as it meant we could get settled in our room and freshen up before exploring the city. The lady on reception also showed us to our room as it was quite a walk from the reception area. She also insisted on helping us with our bags which were quite heavy - poor girl was out of breath at the end! Our upgraded room was fab with a little kitchen area, sofa and small table and a great sized bathroom. When we had booked we mentioned to the hotel we were staying as part of our wedding anniversary and when we returned to our room after our first day we found some lovely wrapped gifts of some soap and handcream and a card - such a lovely touch. The hotel staff also warned us that as we were there over a weekend the restaurents could get booked up. They offered to try and book us in a local Italian which was very helpful and kind of the staff to do this. The hotel is in a great location for the city, you are literally a stones throw from the main cathedral. The walk to the castle is a bit longer. We didn't have breakfast as it was a bit expensive at €18 per person so cannot comment on that. A fab hotel in the heart of Nuremburg with brilliant attentive and friendly staff.

The breakfast offered was quite expensive, but you don't need to have breakfast there so if you don't choose it, it's not an issue

Fabulous. We were in a large, well-appointed apartment with great natural light, lots of storage, and a nice bathroom. We have traveled extensively, and this is in our all-time top ten. The staff is excellent, and late-night access is easy via your room key. There's a quality elevator for the upper floors and a shared laundry on the first floor. The adjoining restaurant has an agreement to provide breakfast—it's fantastic. It also had an air conditioner that easily kept up during the sweltering days.

The location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. The apartment itself was extremely spacious, clean and with every amenity, and we were able to make ourselves very comfortable. But the reason we loved this property was for the staff, who were always friendly, helpful and professional. We want to give a special callout to the Mondo Restaurant staff for the fantastic breakfasts, their help in feeding two members of our family who fell ill during the trip, and the best ramen at dinner one evening. They remembered us every time we came in and had our breakfast orders memorized. You couldn't ask for a better dining experience! We definitely will be back to Nuremberg and definitely will stay at this property.

The hotel is strategically located in town, near to so many good food and shopping. The Japanese restaurant next door is so good! The hotel provides good service and has very friendly hotel team! The room is amazing, it is new, equipped with the best. The bed is comfortable, makes you feel so at home. The shower is good, the water temperature and pressure is perfect. The toilet is big n modern. This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. Highly recommended! We will be back again for sure!
