Hotel Säntis

Private gated car park was great. Staff spoke great english and were encouraging when attempting to speak german. Location over all was great as right off the toll road and a few blocks in, treed in, quiet, and walking distance to u bahn into Munich 22minutes and within M zone ticket wise, which is cheapest. Breakfast was amazing and fresh cut tulips on every breakfat table was a special touch.

The staff and location were great! Also having private parking was a huge plus.

Mattress and pillow were pretty uncomfortable and there were no additional pillows or blankets in the room. Also the first time for me that there was only a single pillow. If I had stayed longer I’d mentioned it, but I couldn’t be bothered for just two nights and very busy days.

We liked the large bathroom, and the staff was nice and welcoming. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was quite nice: we had dinner 3 times there. The underground station is 8 minutes wak away from the hotel.

The room was facing the parking lot and the cigarette smoke from the people smoking there would get in our room. The parking lot was small and crouded. Despite what other have said breakfast could have had more variety.

Small, family run and cozy hotel. It has a private parking. The breakfast we had there was one of the best in our trip - wide variety, everything fresh and good quality. Nice and friendly staff. The rooms were decorated with style and great attention to details. Definitely consider stay there again when we return to München.

Excellent location, near an underground station 5 min walking. Cozy ambient for breakfast and the best coffee (espresso) I ever had in a buffet breakfast. Nicely furnished room, overlooking a calm street. Very good price for such a hotel and the private parking for the car in the hotel courtyard.

Nothing worth mentioning.

The location of this hotel is brilliant, really close to public transport which is easy to get the hang of if you’re not from here. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you need.

The pillows are really uncomfortable which is a shame because the bed is comfortable.

Breakfast was really very poor, sorry. I didn't mind the small selection so much as the dried and wilted vegetables and the scrambled eggs, which were more like some sort of stiff egg mass that could be cut with a knife.

Location excellent - both to drive to and to access local public transport. Breakfast very good. Room very good, perhaps a little small.

All staff members were fine but none were very friendly or very helpful.

Excellent breakfast with great staff. The lack of air conditioning made for a hot muggy room which was uncomfortable. The overall quality for the money was good.

NO air conditioning would be my only complaint.

Excellent breakfast, highly varied choices with cured meats and cheeses. Friendly staff members ask for your choice of coffee every morning. Hot water on demand.

Slight stain on one of the towels, but not a big issue.
