B&B Hotel Erfurt

We were able to drop off our bags at the reception before check-in time. We were 2-3 hours early, and this gave us the opportunity to already explore the city without having to carry bags around. The younger gentlemen at the front desk was very nice.

There were construction workers during our stay. During the afternoon, we came back to our room for a rest before dinner, and there was loud drilling. Ofcourse these people have a job to do as well, but the timing was unfortunate. The female staff (two different ladies) at the front desk ignored us every time we walked by, even when we said goodmorning or hello. Maybe we have to pay extra for service with a smile?

Loved the place, very well maintained and the location is very convenient to the city centre, city bus stop and train station as well. Staff is also friendly and check-in process itself is an automated one which is remarkable and quite convenient to use

Probably the breakfast rate. It is 10.50€ for a person but they offer just bread, egg, cereals and coffee with some ham and cheese. These things can also be easily bought from a store nearby for much less.

1. The people at the reception couldn't speak English. So communication was a little difficult but not something that couldn't be managed.

There is a self-check-in machine at the entrance, so you can check yourself in and go to your room without having to talk to anybody. And everything, like timetables and wi-fi instructions, is easy to find. There is no key or card for the room, after checking in, you receive a code by e-mail and use it both to enter the hotel and open your room door; so you don't need to worry about losing your key/card.

Basic but comfortable room, sparsely furnished but very clean and warm. Perfect location for an overnight stay in Erfurt, with the old town just a few minutes' walk away and underground parking available at the train station.

No nightstand or sockets next to the bunk bed. Was a bit noisy at night.

This is a great budget friendly hotel, the room was good enough for me, my wife and my son. For the price tag, this hotel is unbeatable!

There is a parking place 100 m away, but it would be super nice if there were a direct connection to it.

The location was ideal. The room was clean. The room service was good—all in all, good service.

Rude breakfast waitress. I arrived 5 minutes before the end of Breakfast due to a meeting, and whilst I was eating, I proceeded to hand me a little note with the team as "7-10 am" even though I got there before 10.

The room was very cute and more than I expected for the price. It was very nice the Hauptbahnhof and other attractions - such as the Domplatz and Anger.

There was some mold/water damage in the ceiling of the shower. Everything else was clean and it didn't detract from the stay.

5 mins from central station, 10 mins from the old center of Erfurt - the location couldn‘t be much better. The hotel is simple and has everything you need. The rooms are clean and quiet.

Conflicting information on start of breakfast resulted in people lining up in front of a closed breakfast area.

The hotel is designed so you don't need to check in with staff. Checking in on the machine was a little fiddly, but only took 5 minutes. It worked very well, the room is clean, the price was great, the location was great. It was my first time staying in a hotel like this.
