HOTEL Am Spichernplatz

It’s a really nice hotel. The breakfast was great and there was a variety of tasty and fresh food. I also liked the hotel staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s a great value for the price. :)

The only thing I didn’t like during my stay was that the internet connection in our room was quite poor. Also, since our room was on the side of the street, it was a big loud sometimes at night. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The hotel breakfast is great, it includes pretty much everything you want from a breakfast and more on top of that. The check in went smoothly, staff was friendly. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, TV was a nice bonus. The bathroom was large and well equipped.

The sewer in the shower smelled bad, probably due to no recent use. After using the shower the smell was gone. The room was a bit small there wasn't space for drying clothes for example. The location is okay but if you don't want to walk to the center I'd get something closer.

A very nice and clean hotel ideal for business trip in Dusseldorf. The room is very clean and confortable. The service provided is really good and professional. The breakfast is varied providing several kind of food and beverages. Overall, it is a very nice hotel especially for business trips.

Maybe the ratio quality/cost can be improved (i.e. to 60 Eur/night) reducing a little bit the costs considering that the hotel is not located in the center of Düsseldorf and it was not high season or some specific events.

Prety much everything excluding the absence of air condirioning.

There is no air conditioning. It's a serious issue at the summer, especialy if you got big windows turned to the sun, withiut the possibility to fully open them to let fresh air in. During the daytime, and till late night, the air in the room is (too) warm and choky. Not a place to cool down after a long day outside.

Booking app did a mistake because it put the triple room as "2 double beds" and it is actually 3 single beds. As we went with a friend, we would like to have 2 double beds. The receptionist changed our room to meet our expectations with no complaints.

The pillow is very flat, not so comfortable. The room I got was turned to the road where the strassenbahn passes, a bit noisy but nothing dramatic. The breakfast was good but, for vegetarian/vegan people, wouldn't have so many options. In my case, I'm lactose intolerant and there was no option for lactose-free or plant-based milk.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The front-desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the daily cleaning service was great. The inclusion of a complimentary mini-bar was also great.

In my room the windows did not open completely, which means that the room got very hot. They provided a fan, but it wasn't very good at cooling the room down. The shower also didn't seal properly and didn't drain quickly enough.

I have traveled for a work event, which was in the Messe. The location is very convenient and the bus ride to the CCD was only 10 minutes. Another positive sides of the hotel: - Great value for the money - very nice and helpful staff - allowed us early check in without additional costs - gave us baby bed for free - good breakfast

Everything was as expected.

Very clean. Well situated with tram at the door that connects do Dusseldorf main station. Well mantained building.

The wifi although had good coverage was slow. Didn't have independent room air conditioner.

I had a great stay at this hotel ! The Staff are very nice, the room was clean and the breakfast is very tasty. Quality / Price ratio is the best I think.

No fridge and teapot. I took a teapot with me and stayed not for a long time so it was not a real problem for me.

Lift wouldn't go to our floor. Radiator was stuck on full and wouldn't turn down. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, the shower didn't drain quickly enough, flooding the floor and there was a crack in the sink.
