The room was clean, and the hostel already provided amenities like towels and bedding. Breakfast was OK with the options to make yourself a sandwich (wish there were vegan options as well) and a coffee. It was a bit pricey, though, compared to local food spots. There was some room in the lobby to chill, but I wish there also existed a more quiet space to do some work.

We've tried to check in via the hostel’s app but something was wrong on the reception side with the payment but it was sorted out in the end. The app also didn't tell us to ask for the room card with the reception. Wish it was more of an end-to-end experience.

The room is clean and nice.

However the towel and bed lines are not as free as other hostels that I have booked The kitchen is pretty dirty and the hostel doesnt provide cooking pots and pans. There are not lot of plates and bowl in such a huge hostel. There is no cup or glass available in the kitchen.

I am happy to share my comments with you. The staff was exceptioanlly helpful! I could turn to them any time that I needed them for anything. One gentleman went even out of his way to make me confortable by changing my room due to a person who occupied my room who was smelling like coming from a stable. I thank him for that. His name was Batuhan if I am not mistaken. The gentleman from India was very helpful. The housecleaners were exceotionally fine and good and neat. I had a fine stay there and based on this experience decided to use the same faciltiy in Cologne but to my surprise, I was very dissapointed in Cologne in the Newmarket Location. The toilette smelled after urine. I am sure that it was not cleaned. The rooms are much much smaller and dark. No TV in the room either. We had to pay for towels! I would not recommend this location to anyone. Based on this experience I decided not to use A&O Hostels in Lubeck and Flesnburg. One person in Cologne was very helpful, Khassan. He really saved my stay here. Please thank him for me. Thank you.

Budget hostel as I would expect: close to the train station, reasonable clean rooms, spacious common area downstairs with a plenty of tables, and last but not least, a helpful staff that is flexible in solving problems that I have encountered due to other guests.

There were two main shortcomings: beds and bedsheets. I had never had a problem sleeping on a bunk bed before, but this one trembled as I climbed on it. Even though I am not particularly heavy, I was actually afraid it might collapse when I get up in the morning. Speaking about beds, I had to pay extra for bedsheets (yes, I know it is listed deep within the fine print), but the quality hardly matched the fee.

The room was cozy and the bathroom was very clean, I felt comfortable being there. Check-in and out are fast. WIFI worked perfectly. Very convenient location. A few tips: don't forget to bring your own sheets and towel if you stay in a shared block otherwise you have to pay for them. Also, bring your own lock to lock your stuff in the room. The bunk bed has a compartment down but it's not locked anyhow

The only thing I didn't like was the kitchen. It was dirty, very dirty. It even stank and had bugs and flies. I don't really understand why it's not cleaned, or not that often.

The hostel is very well located and the staff are very friendly, I specially recognize the help provide by a receptionist whose name is Deman, he has an excellent way to treat customers, so I think he should be in charge of the receptionism departament or should be at least one of the main advisers to the new receptionist ones! Also I appreciate how treat the customers to people who clean the bedrooms, I dont remember their names but they both are from Turkmenistan

The environment is very nice. The location is very convenient. The bed is comfortable and clean. There are a lot of plugs in the room and near the bed, so it’s very convenient to charge for everyone. There’s a large resting area at the ground floor, and there’s Wi-Fi coverage everywhere. You can rest and work at any time. The toilet and shower is separated so it’s very convenient, and it’s very clean as well.

You need to pay extra fee to rent the bed sheet and it’s mandatory.

Hotel in city center, free parking places. Friendly staff, clean hotel. Good room, comfortable beds, 2x room card, bathroom also ok. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were constantly replenished the food.

Lift did not work but that can happen. The price meets the quality of accommodation, I recommend!

I really didn’t expect the hostel to be this clean and comfortable considering how cheap it is. The bathroom and the shower were in the room, not the common area, and it was really convenient. Sure, the room was rather small for 6 people, but for just two nights I have no complaints. The breakfast was good too!

The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours, however, I got lucky: no one was loud during the quiet hours
