Beethovenhotel Dreesen - furnished by BoConcept

I stayed in a single room facing the church and had a very lovely time. The location is great with everything within walking distance and it's still rather quiet. There is a bar/restaurant nearby but as long as the window is closed, the noise is ok. The bed is very comfy and room is clean. The gentleman at the reception and staff are super nice. I even got a chocolate bunny for the Easter! The reception closes around 16:00 which I find a bit too early. But you can easily reach them via phone.

Sometimes when I returned to the room after a few hours out, the room would have a slight bad smell. It smelled like it was from the bathroom.

This hotel has really exceeded my expectations. There are many reasons for that, but the two key elements are the extraordinary hospital, friendly and forthcoming staff and the location of the hotel, which is in the very center of the city, right in the heart of the pedestrian zone, but also a short 5-minute walk to a major public transport hub. The hotel stay includes having an a la cart breakfast in the next-door cafe, which serves excellent food and great coffee. The rooms are very small, but that said surprisingly functional and comfortable.

Spotless clean.and well decorated. Room small (single) but nevertheless very comfy. Location in the heart of city center and very close to tram 66. Not sure how the doubles rooms are.

Nobody at check in but the procedure to get the key was seamless. CAUTION: there is no breakfast on Sunday (learned it there on the spot, when I was hoping a good breakfast from the reviews!!). Perhaps I missed at booking but definitely a negative point... the walls are not very soundproof/ thick: I could hear my neighbour snore (in the very quiet Bonn..)

The staff was so kind. The breakfast was new to me in style (you can order anything from the cafe in the ground floor), but was superb in quality. I in particular liked the Yogurt bowl. The hotel is located in the old town with fancy neighbourhood. I didn't go for any sightseeing, but maybe the location is suitable for that.

Service was a bit confusing. The room making did not give new towels, but I got ones by asking explicitly.

Exceptionally hospitable and helping hosts. The hotel is at the very centre of the pedestrian Bonn centre. Very convenient for whatever you may do. Exceptionally clean and cozy. BoConcept furnishing gives a clean and neat glare. The breakfast in the morning is another special aspect that needs to be underlined. Breakfast in its full meaning along with the super friendly staff in the bistro at the ground floor next to the entrance door of the hotel

My room was very small, hardly 20m2 but when you see the smiling positive people in the hotel, hotels bistro bar, cobble stone pedestrian zone, classy behavior and attitude all around you, those 20m2 are irrelevant. Especially if you are for a overnight only.

The hotel is located IN the city centre of Bonn, on walking distance of most places worth visiting. We had a quiet room, as asked for and the staff was very helpfull and friendly. In the morning we were pleasently suprised by the breakfast: Breakfast for hotelguests is in a lunchroom on the ground floor. The design, atmosphere and of course especially the food blew us away: No standard hotel food, but a healthy, well balanced choice of tastefull sandwiched and bowls. By far the best hotel breakfast i ever had!

Parking: At booking, it said "parking in the street"...but one cannot park anywhere nearby in the streets. We ended up parking in a garage. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to know in advance.

I rarely write recommendations but my experience in the hotel was so amazing that I feel I need to write something to express my gratitude. The rooms are very nice and the location is very convenient. The breakfast is great as well. I had a very difficult problem about my luggage before my flight, which was none of the hotel’s business, but they kindly lent a hand and tried everything to help me in order to solve it. Otherwise I would not be able to catch my flight. This shouldn’t go unsung, so I strongly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel if they are visiting Bonn!

The man at the front desk was super nice! Brought me a fan cause it was very hot, was very patient and smiley. Comfy bed, nice shower. Great location, Pretty clean. I got my room earlier than expected.

The check in and out times are pretty limiting, there was a loose tile in the bathroom and a small hole in my sheet, nothing terrible but it was a bit weird.

This was a nice hotel run by kind staff willing to answer any questions and communicated fantastically about what to do if we didn't make it to the door before the desk closed. Really appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality. Location was an easy walk from the train station right down the street from the Beethoven house. Made things very easy to see. Beds were also super comfy.

Everything was great.

The property is located almost in front of the Beethovenhaus and close to tram stop. The room was small, but functional. The members of staff were very friendly, especially Mr. Lux. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast, which was served at a café on the ground floor, very personal and well presented breakfast different from monotonous buffet!

The only complaint I had was the strong smell of the sewage.
