numa I Arc Rooms & Apartments

Great accommodation, facilitates, easy check-in (all via WhatsApp). communication was easy with quick responses to questions. Able to cast from my mobile to watch Netflix on the television too. Brilliant location, only 100m to the underground and many attractions within walking distance. highly recommend and will definitely return.

the only issue we experienced was with the luggage lockers, you set a passcode which then didn’t work upon our return. the service team were great responding via tx and offering to attend with a locker key. This did however cause panic given we were leaving for the airport. conscious this can happen, maybe another system to respond to emergencies would benefit.

I loved the privacy and the free amenities in the room. The location was great too

Lack of aircon meant it was very hot in the room in July. Sleeping with the window rectified this and I found a fan was available for me to use.

This place definitely met my expectations. Here are some things worth highlighting: good communication from the moment I booked—clear and detailed instructions for self-check-in. The Internet connection was reliable, and the location was convenient. The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler, and there were some nice gestures with quite a few complementary items. I really appreciated the early check-in and luggage service. The kitchen had enough amenities for practical use, but lacked a toaster or small oven. While there was no air conditioning, they provided a fan, which luckily wasn't an issue thanks to the favorable weather.

the hotel was so clean and the rooms are really modern with everything you need including facilities to cast to the tv. the location is fantastic just a block away from checkpoint Charlie and loads of restaurants, cafes and shops plus easy access to buses and tubes. the hotel is staffless but they respond really quickly via WhatsApp clean towels etc are in a locker room you can help yourself to. for the price I feel this was an excellent standard hotel.

lack of housekeeping - apparently the rooms are cleaned every 8 days however we were only there for six and I did find the lack of housekeeping annoying, my bin ended up overflowing and I could not see any way to dispose of rubbish or dirty towels. there were no replacement bin bags in the laundry room so I had ti take one from the cleaning cart that was cleaning another room. towards the end of our stay the floor of the room was getting a bit bitty and it would have been nice to have been provided with a dustpan and brush so I could have done this myself. very minor niggles but providing for feedback

very comfortable and well equipped for a short stay. small kitchen, coffee machine and kettle. good shower. comfortable bed. very clean. pretty spacious for the price. decent fairly central location right next to tube and bike hire station. though not much going on in direct vicinity.

No English language tv channels. Not really a massive issue tho No view as windows faced inside building Fire alarm went off during our stay meaning everyone had to evacuate building. Entry process obtaining code biggest issue as booked on booking.com, but no information given that you also had to register with numa separately giving all your details again before releasing door code. This whole process took 30 minutes for both of us on arrival. Messaging through app was not answered so had to phone German customer service number from uk phone.

Very noisy.

Location is great, rooms clean and well equipped (kitchen has all you need for short stay, including coffee cups, tea, few drinks and snacks, olive oil - all complementary; there is hairdryer and bathroom cosmetics). Despite cold weather, apartment was hot enough (we even turned heating off, as apparently building is very well isolated). There was always enough hot water available for 4 of us. Online check-in was smooth (we even were informed (without asking for) that we can check in earlier as our apartment was ready ahead of time). Numa Arc building is really beautiful outside as well and almost looks like historical site. Although there are numerous rooms, all was well organised, and we haven't seen any crowd. Storage is also available free of charge before check in and after check out. Only thing I can think off that might be improved is bathroom ventilation, but that was not as disturbing at all comparing to all good sides of Numa Arc. One of staff members is in the lobby 24/7, and available for any support you need. Neighborhood is nice as well, and close to main attractions. We loved our stay a lot and can only recommend this place.

Nice and spacious room in an excellent location right near Checkpoint Charlie and a short walk to Brandenburg Gate. Everything is done via codes and communication online, there isn't a reception area so those that are not good with technology may have issues.

Communication is via WhatsApp so are reliant on all talk through the app. However responses were quick! We had an early morning start when we were checking out (5AM) and asked the possibility for the breakfast on that day to be sent the day prior, however were informed that it couldn't be possible which was disappointing even with early notice.

Location is superb. All main attractions, shopping malls, good food spots are nearby. U need just couple of minutes to get around. I didn't used any kind of transport during my 2 weeks stay in Berlin. In favour of Numa I'd like to say that all service is digitalized and that was pretty comfortable for me.

It could be better to clean the rooms more often than once per week (I mean free cleaning service).

This concept is really great, I liked it very much. The room is nice, clean, spacious and have everything what you could need. The entry with the pin is very easy and comfortable. Location is perfect. I also loved the breakfast, all the options were nice, fresh and tasty. The free drinks in the fridge were a pleasant bonus.

I missed some little memo in the room about where to get additional toilet paper/towels/tea if needed. I know it is possible to ask through whatsapp anytime, but this could be written somewhere as a very basic info. Also, during my week stay, for three times there was announced that someone will come to check something in the room. I always got the information through email, but sometimes it was just few minutes before, when I was already away from the hotel for the day and could not adjust the room, so it felt little bit uncomfortable. However everything was fine in the end.
