Novum Hotel Kronprinz Berlin

it was very good hotel in pretty nice location. I was travelling for work and the location was close to the place of the event as well tourist spots. I could see there were lot of guests for the event staying in the same hotel. The overall experiene was so good that I will go again to Berlin to the same hotel in future. The room was spacious with a desk where I could work a little.

The staff was confused about the public parking in the hotel area. even though it was free 1 of staff member said it is not.

If you expect high level of luxury, then the hotel is not for you. But if you expect clean, decent, cozy, warm and well organised place to stay, with good breakfast and nice staff - this will be perfect option

Lack of tea or coffee in any other hours than breakfast and no option to prepare one for oneself. Also some strange WiFi - all my firewalls were screaming to close the browsers 🙈

The staff was amazing and super helpful. The rooms were large and had a view of the S-Bahnstation (the sounds were not a problem because of the double glass) I would definitely recommend going here, especially with a tighter budget. (we only payed 280 euros for a 2 people stay of 4 nights) It was easy to reach both by bus and S-bahn, even during the night.

everything was quite nice apart from the shower. It was quite hard to shower without making the whole bathroom wet and since there was no drainage system inside the bathroom the water stayed there until it was cleaned the next day (very well, might I add. so no complains with the cleaning).

It is close to public transport and central to many places. Staffs were really nice and helpful .

The lights in the rooms were not great to brighten . It is not good value for the money I paid so I was expecting more aesthetic in the room. It was just plain. maybe demand affected this as many activities going on during the period that made the price go up but I wasn't aware of that Initially .

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times as it is in a quiet location, a little way out but not difficult to get to. The breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is quite old fashioned but that's a plus if you are looking for something different from the average identikit property.

The lighting could be improved in the room and neither bedside lamp was working.

spacious room. good location…..close to train station and nice walk into the city.

very basic facilities. very very thin bed mattress and pillows which made an uncomfortable few nights sleep. if staying in warmer weather and have windows open then it’s very noisy from the train track and main road. air con didn’t work within the room

Excellent breakfast in the cozy room, the hotel is clean and with a lovely atmosphere. A big advantage is the location of the hotel. Walking distance is a famous shopping street (the hotel is right at the end of the street) and the subway station is 5 steps from the hotel.

Only one detail I was not satisfied with was the cold room (heaters were on maximum) and cold water in the shower.

The cleanliness and the area. Nice hotel. Old time charm.

The receptionists. Just one showed some sign of friedliness, the others have to learn to work with people, which takes time and passion. In the same trip we stayed in Leipzig and Dresden. The staff there gets all high scores, not here which is a pity because they have a wonderful hotel to work for. Dissapointing.

Friendly staff, reception and at breakfast. Located close to train station and bus stops, easy to get around with young family. Breakfast was nice, reasonably price.

Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable, fold out dropped down & had to prop up each night. Needed a kettle in the room.

Clean, comfortable and breakfast was very good.

There was no bar, but they had a fridge (which is ok). Unfortunately, hardly any of the drinks on offer were actually in the fridge which you would expect in the middle of summer, and the guy behind the desk didn't show any interest in doing anything about it.
