Hôtel La Flore

1. I had no regrets about my stay, and no real criticisms; I'd stay here again 2. The view from the terrace room was outstanding. 3. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. 4. My room was clean and comfortable. 5. The location is good. 6. Breakfast is quite nice, on a terrace overlooking the water and nice food too. Breads, cheeses, fruits, cofee, juices, and eggs cooked to order. 7. Very very safe area and secure property, I felt totally safe.

No real criticisms, but for people to know: 1. No room fridge, and no eating allowed in the room, so don't plan to take items here to enjoy. 2. Wifi is weak, so don't plan to work from here much. 3. It's a good uphill 12 minute or so walk from the center of town / beach area. I had no problem with it, but it's a bit of a schlep if you plan to go back and forth a lot. 4. Breakfast doesn't start quite at 7:30 and the eggs cooked to order wasn't always on offer, but not a real issue.

The hotel is super cute and has the most beautiful view first off. The location is great, not too close to all the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to the centre of Villefranche sur Mer in 10 minutes or so. Annick, her husband and the staff were fantastic and looked after us in every way. Breakfast looks out onto the most picture card sea view, what's not to like!

Hard to say. Perhaps the furniture in the breakfast area lounge could be given a little refresh.

The view was amazing! This hotel is easy to get to from Nice and walkable to everything in Ville Franche, a great little town! The breakfast was great (with a view!), the pool was really nice and the staff was exceptional. Our room was quite large and had a table/chairs, drink fridge, little patio and a large bathroom with a full size tub. Awesome.

The air conditioning was helpful, but not great. The bed mattress was pretty hard, but we slept well.

Great hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. Our room was clean and modern. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The pool was refreshing and they gave us towels for the pool and the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. They served a very good breakfast with eggs made to order and many other nice choices. Eating breakfast on the terrace was one of the highlights of our trip. We really enjoyed our stay.

A bit of a walk to the old town

Excellent location! Short stroll to the public bus that takes you to Nice, Eve, Monaco. Gorgeous views of the sea and yachts from your private terrace with overhang for shade. Lovely swimming pool with view onsite. Fully stocked lounge bar available, with ice for beverages on your terrace. Loved room 3!

Location is way above the town, so be prepared to hike down to the water (and back up) for dinner. Taxi stand available, but Uber is a better choice.

The view looking out to the ocean, the location to the old town and local beaches. The staff were very friendly. The swimming pool is an added bonus.

We had a small kitchen in our room which we were unable to use because there was no cutlery, crockery, pots/pans etc. When we asked for plates and forks, the hotel wanted to charge us €20. We found this a little puzzling? In addition, the airconditioner did not cool the room adequately.

Lovely little hotel, our second visit. Perfect location to visit Villefranche sur Mer. Little swimming pool, great to cool off and sunbathe. Plenty of choice at breakfast and freshly cooked eggs to order. View from the breakfast terrace over the bay, we love it here.

Nothing!

The staff were fantastic. The view was incredible. The breakfast was far more than I expected for a 3 star hotel. Its proximity to the town made it a nice 10 min walk to the centre. Fresh towels every day. At last minute they gave me a checkout extension for 2 hours, even though they had new guests arriving. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to travellers. Note, the top floor rooms only have skylights with no balcony so limited view.

I would have liked the shower to have a holder instead of hand held. But pressure wss excellent.

Fabulous location with beautiful views . Close to the old town , restaurants etc but not at all noisy at night . Close also to the bus stops serving Nice and Monaco . Lovely, friendly and helpful staff .

There was nothing I disliked but if I had to suggest things that would make it even better , it would be tea/ coffee making facilities in the room and a little more screening between the room terraces to make them feel more private .

The rooms were lovely, aircon great!! Nice walk into the township where all the restaurants were. Beautiful patisserie down the road called Boulangerie Pâtisserie Vermeulen. Pool area great and clean. La Caravelle restaurant is great - all of them are $$ but this one is well worth the money. Beautiful food.
