Little Palace

The location is great, right in the middle of the historic part of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The young man on the reception speaks English very well. Everyone else, who speaks English a bit worse, tries his best to understand you and make you understand them. Despite being situated right in the middle of the historic part of the city, it's possible to park your car right in front of the entrance to carry your luggage in or out (you can't keep it there for a long time during the day though). You can use the collective kitchen downstairs. The check in and check out time is very convenient if you travel for a holiday. Although there was no an air conditioner in the room, the combination of shutters, heavy curtains and a ventilator made it absolutely tolerable to stay in the room, even when it was very hot outside

The absence of air conditioner in the room, absence of lift and the steep stairs to the room on the 6th floor, and a somewhat insufficient room cleaning service bothered the lady whom I travelled with, but I was quite fine with all that (the absence of air conditioner and the lift however was stipulated in the description). It would be great, if it was possible to keep the car parked right in front of the hotel all the time (you are only allowed to keep it there at night). Long term underground parking nearby is very nice and quite cheap as well, though

The hotel is located in a great part of town. Right near open air markets, restaurants, clothing stores, and an assortment of other small businesses. There is a convenient parking structure located a couple of blocks away where you can park long term. The daily rate is not excessive and you can rest knowing your car is in a nice clean safe place.

It was very hard to find the hotel. Google Maps could not get us there because the hotel is not on a street that cars travel on. We finally made it but it was a struggle.

A simple hotel right in the centre of Toulon. A bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the town which was a nice bonus. The reception was manned 24/7.

There is no lift, so getting to top floor started to get old quite quickly. The furnishings were a bit dated, and e.g. we had to improvise to fix the shutters open in high wind.

From arrival to departure - and every time in between - the staff at front desk were very friendly. The location was excellent for our needs as an easy walk from the station, also to the marina with its many restaurants and a ferry to an outlying beach. The sunny square nearby was also good for dining and coffee. It’s a small place, with character, cheerfully decorated and smart throughout with a comfy bed. We liked it a lot and stayed 4 nights.

Bedrooms are small, storage for clothes limited and stairs are steep! As we personally travelled light this was not a problem at all for us, with the good far outweighing these downsides. A fan rather than aircon could be a problem in very hot weather.

It was extremely, extremely hot the whole time we were there, day and night. There was a fan but it didn't help at all. I felt like passing out from the heat. Access to room only by narrow spiral staircase.

Location is great, 15 min walk from train station, cafes and restaurants nearby. Close to the ferry check-in, too. Madame was very gracious in accommodating a special request. Makes a difference when you speak to the owner!

A great little old-world hotel with friendly staff. We were very comfortable for the night we stayed there, everything was smooth and easy and the man at the desk was personable and helpful.

The staff was very very kind. He spoke English with us and was very caring. We weren't sure wether to book the hotel in the beginning, but are super happy that we booked it. Ee liked it there a lot and can recommend staying there to everyone.

Late check out at 12 is really good! Very helpful stuff and very friendly. Great experience. There is a ferry nearby to Les Sablettes which is absolutely beautiful for the day on the beach.

The Internet is a bit patchy but for holidays is great.
