The view from the rooms and the location of the hotel are great, the breakfast room is splendid, the food served for breakfast is very good. And beautiful and calm Tarascon-sur-Ariège is well worth a visit, although it doesn't range among the best known holiday destinations in France. Just go there and have a look yourself! You will love the town!

The location was magical, on the river in the beautiful mountains. Our family room was spacious, clean and cool. Restaurant for evening meal convenient and delicious. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Parking was on the road, but we found a space near hotel. Breakfast was limited.

Amazing location designed to make as much as possible from the proximity to the river. if your lucky enough to have a room on the river side the views are amazing.
there was a smell of smoke when entering our room. clearly someone has smoked in the room, which is a little annoying.

The room, when we finally reached it, was comfortable, well equipped - including a kettle - and the bathroom spacious. Pleasant view of the river. The riverside restaurant downstairs was welcome as Tarascon seems to have a dearth of eateries. No dedicated parking but you may be lucky with a spot in the small square opposite.
Most rooms are upstairs, there is no lift and the stairs are steep and winding with a dangerously positioned fire door at the top. There appears to be no alternative fire escape route. We struggled badly to get our luggage to our second floor room.
