What a wonderful find. A beautiful historical home, full of charm and delight, hosted by Sophie who treated us so very well. The room was very clean and spacious and the breakfast was lovely. Free on site parking, close to a lovely restaurant. We'll definitely stay here again next time we pass through. Thank you Sophie for your wonderful hospitality

We loved staying at the Distillerie! It is an old building steeped in family history, off the beaten track, with a wonderful friendly and helpful hostess who spoke excellent English. We felt a bit like we were privileged to stay in a living museum. (Not for those who want modernised new facilities, but wonderful for those who love original historical buildings.) The pool was warm enough to enjoy a swim even on cooler days, which our children loved. The breakfast was a simple delicious French breakfast which was more than we could eat. The beds were comfortable and the apartment very clean. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area. The local market on the Saturday morning was delightful. All in all a fantastic couple of days. Thank you!

They were so kind and friendly, our little boy was car sick and they very kindly let us use the washing machine to clean everything. Advised us for our onward journey and generally made us feel very welcome, we all agreed to come back again and wished we had booked for longer.

This home and former distillery have been in the same family for generations. It’s full of quirky recent history, fixtures and fittings and genuinely intriguing. Having said that, the best attribute was the wonderful proprietress who gave us a warm welcome, made a recommendation then booking for us at a (wonderful) local restaurant and catered for all our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely old building run by two lovely hosts. They gave us a history of the house and we enjoyed the swimming pool after a long day of travelling. French breakfast was delicious.

Sofia was a lovely host very welcoming. House was full of character very French. Large room clean and tidy. Bathroom very clean and breakfast very nice and fresh.

beautiful house with lots if antique furnitures.

the bed was a bit too antique and the mattress could be better, the bed was moving when one was turning around.

Large comfortable apartment, comfy big bed and great sofa in lounge to sit and read. Pool was in a wonderful setting in the huge, flower filled garden. Very peaceful.

Liked it all, it met our needs.

Very good breakfast, charming and historic house, beautiful garden, chance to use the swimming pool in the evening, off-road parking for the car

water pressure in the shower was variable (but it is an old house so this is not unusual)

it had a wonderful history to it and the owner was very sociable. the room was big and the beds comfortable. breakfast in the dining room was great.
