Garrigae Distillerie de Pezenas

The hotel has been redecorated since my last stay before the pandemic and looks clean and fresh. I had a large room with a comfortable bed. There was a good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the WiFi is no longer up to speed for use for my work. It is fine for emails but little else. In the past the room used to have its own router but this is no longer the case. If you are working and reliant on good WiFi, then this is not good enough and you may need to look elsewhere. I tethered my laptop to my phone, which gave me vastly superior WiFi. The toilet bowl is stained brown from lack of cleaning over a long period of time and I wouldn't expect this in my own home, so it is disappointing to find it in a hotel of this calibre.

Great location with free parking. We arrived later than expected due to delayed flight and the lady at reception was brilliant, making sure that we were sorted for dinner before checking into the room. Excellent food and wine served at the hotel bistrot. Nice to have fridge, kettle and microwave in kitchen area.

Would be useful to have washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel provided. Thorough deep cleaning required in some areas (bathroom, corners and skirting boards). The carpet in the room next to where breakfast is served is noticeably stained and I'd suggest replacing it with hardwood or laminate flooring.

Fantastic location close to the old town with a shortcut across a pedestrian bridge. Excellent large deck complete with private spa pool. Great sized bedrooms and living space with the bonus of two bathrooms. Beautiful sunset views over the rooftops. Manager generously reduced rate and included breakfast after our misunderstanding that this was already included.

The information said third floor with lift but actually required stairs to access the room. This would have made it inaccessible to anyone unable to use stairs. Kitchen had almost nothing in it to make cooking possible such as a single sharp knife.

Great location, only a 2 minute walk across to the historic centre (which was truly fabulous). Suite was great with plenty of space. Staff were super helpful. All in all, a really good find.

Signage on approaching car park could have been better. It wasn’t clear at all that we had arrived in the right place! There is a note requesting kitchen to be clean on departure but no dish towel left to dry dishes. All a little dingy, especially the corridors, and could do with a brighter coat of paint.

Helpful and friendly staff. Quiet location only a short walk to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Very pleasant bright and spacious suite with an equipped kitchenette, dining table and large sofa. Bedroom with a very comfy bed and ensuite bathroom. The spa and hamam were an enjoyable experience. Massages and other health treatments are available. Lunch and spa day packets are available so I shall return.

Fabulous and enormous suite. Gorgeous view from the sitting room and all the facilities I could need. Having a mini-kitchen makes such a difference. The bathroom had a great shower and there was plenty of storage space. The restaurant food was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, they even helped me with my very poor French. The pool was such a welcome relief and the perfect size for a few laps and just to relax by/in. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The Distillerie in Pézenas is a wonderful example of converting an old building with much character into an excellent hotel. It’s central and very convenient location in Pézenas together with a wide variety of services makes it a very special place to stay. Restaurant, Bar, Spa, swimming pool and parking are on offer, breakfast on the patio what more can one ask for?

Well located for the centre of town. Very spacious suite with good kitchen facilities. Excellent shower en suite with separate wc. Good private parking.

Sitting area in suite is a bit scantily furnished, needed easy chairs. The mattress and / or the bed needs replacing as dips to the middle and not very comfortable. Carpet in corridor is badly marked. The chairs in the lounge area are not too comfortable.

. It was great to have 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The lounge was large and airy and led out to a decent sized balcony which had chairs and table. There was a kitchen but other than the fridge, which was a good size, we didn't use. Super shower in the twin bedroom. We shared that as the dble bedroom had a bath with shower attachment over. Water was always hot. Internet connection was excellent. Staff friendly. Good size parking. Only 5 minutes walk into Pezenas centre. I would certainly return & totally recommended.

Unfortunately, restaurant was not open but apparently Chef had had an accident and they were short staffed. Chairs on balcony , metal & no cushions provided so not comfortable.
