The Originals Boutique, H¿tel Le Pillebois, Bourg-en-Bresse Nord

The hotel is situated at the major road from the motorway into Bourg on Bresse (12 km). Quiet location and plenty of free parking space. The restaurant is realy excellent and I was amazed about the amount of people eating there. You raly have to book a table in advance. Room is spacious and the beds are good. There is also airco in the room which was plesant on a hot summer day.

The cleaning of the bathroom could be better. I had a room suitable for a handicaped people and therefore the shower was a little old fashioned with a curtain.

Easy to access and park, Staff excellent, comfortable and mostly quiet room, Courtyard dining area and food a delight, good value for the standard of food and wine provided.

The bedroom doors are fitted with strong springs (for fire protection) and the next door room was occupied by people who were not gentle when closing, so there were frequent loud bangs, this is not a fault of the hotel, rather the fault of inconsiderate guests.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the south of France. Incredibly friendly staff. Our youngest son forget his drinking bottle (which he had hidden under his bed) and we got a friendly call by the staff, to tell us we can pick up the bottle whenever we want on our way back home. Which we did, big thanks for keeping it at the reception.

The bathroom is a bit outdated, nevertheless the bathroom and toilet were very clean.

Lovely boutique hotel, with very accommodating staff. It’s a little out of the way but easy to get to everything. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfasts were great. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was good. It was a little further away from the wine areas we wanted to visit but we’d still stay there again.

Nice, quiet location with garden and small swimming pool Very friendly, serviceminded staff, who spoke excellent english Nice and clean room.

The beds were a little to the soft side in our opinion Nice breakfast, but would have been nice with an option of hot boil or scrambled eggs

superb,the staff were exceptional the restaurant and food was amazing the young lady on reception when we arrived was incredibly attentive she showed us to our rooms asked if we needed help with our luggage and took us round and showed us the facilities will most definitely stay there again on our trip down to the south of France next year a very pleased customer 👍🏻

convenient for the north-east/south east highway but away from its noise. very welcoming and attentive staff. simple but clean rooms. lovely courtyard. excellent restaurant

The courtyard is closed after the restaurant closes in the evening. so sitting outdoors is too close for the front facing rooms.

the attention to detail to make a standard concrete building look good and feel good. the rooms are very comfortable. unfortunately I arrived to late and too tired to try the restaurant , but it was alive with people. the people that run the hotel are amazing. so kind and friendly. definitely a place to stay. next time I hope to stay longer there.

This hotel had a small but lovely swimming pool which was ideal after a 6 hour drive from Italy. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also very good and all the staff were most helpful and welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike or complain about

The bed was so comfortable. We had the best night sleep. Staff were lovely. The young lady at reception when we arrived was very helpful. The u you lung man on reception when we left was also very friendly. Great staff. The room was clean and the shower was perfect. Free parking a bonus. Thanks for a lovely stay.
