Benvengudo

Hotel Benvengudo is a gem in Les Baux-de-Provence. The rooms are charming and immaculately clean, and the staff are genuinely warm and attentive. The location is serene, offering spectacular views of the Alpilles Mountains, yet conveniently close to historic sites. The on-site restaurant serves exquisite Provençal cuisine. A truly unforgettable stay!

Breakfast; excellent. Room itself was ok. But it was quite a walk from the main building over stony ground resulting in dust clinging to clothing and carried on shoes into room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was well maintained

Our room was described as 'garden facing' but it was not. It had its own entrance (partly screened) but otherwise faced onto a car park/turning area. Dusty access described above. Didn't seem to be able to order light snack for lunch

Breakfast was very good, as was the staff and overall upkeep of the gardens

The charging box for charging an ev is almost impossible to use for anyone without a French charging card. This is an issue since there are no other charges in the wide vicinity. In fairness this was not the only hotel we encountered with this issue.

Breakfast is alway outstanding and this was no exception. The setting and the gardens are a delight to be in especially as our room led directly into the garden.

I am not sure if there was a supposed to be drinks service in the garden before dinner, but having received the drinks menu, there was no-one to take the order which was disappointing.

Staff was so kind ! Our terrace room was very comfortable ! Breakfast was lovely next to the pool and the property was so peaceful ! We had a great stay!

The restaurant was closed because of off-season, so we had to go out to eat. The staff tried to help us with a list of open restaurants, but I would have rather stayed on the property for dinner :)

Very kind and helpful staff. Lovely position with beautiful garden. Shower was very good in room. Breakfast was excellent.

Sadly the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff. This was a disappointment as we had to drive to another local restaurant rather than relax at the hotel in the evening, which was what we had planned. However the manager was very helpful and found us two good local places and did the booking for us.

A beautiful country hotel outside Arles. The grounds and pool and restaurant area are charming and calm. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb. It was a perfect location to explore the countryside and visit Arles, St Remy and the Carmague

This really is a hidden gem off the road through discreet gates and looking up at Les Baux de Provence. It felt more like being a guest in someone's country home rather than a hotel. The staff could not have been more welcoming - in fact this is a rare venue to which I would award the staff a gold star. They were truly excellent. The room was lovely and exquisitely furnished in keeping with the excellent design throughout. Sadly we were on our way to somewhere else so only stayed one night but it has gone on my list for a definite return for longer. We loved it.

The setting of this hotel is surrounded by lovely olive groves. The staff was outstanding. They were very helpful in helping us explore the walking trails around Les Baux. We especially had a lovely time sampling the menu at the restaurant and interacting with the waiters. All charming!

The wonderful team at Benvengudo made our stay an exceptional experience. The place is like paradise, rooms are clean and comfortable. One of the best Hotel beds I have ever slept in and the food in their restaurant is most delicious. The staff is attentive, kind and caring, no request was too much. We will most definitely come back. Thank you to the team!

We had some work calls to do but the internet was not stable enough to hold longer video conferences.However, if you are looking for a place where you can fully unplug from work, there are few better places to do this in. Sadly, that was not our option, we were travelling for work but will come back to unplug and relax.
