What an eye for detail. From the softness of the towels with the logo stitched on it, the room key ring, the cushions and the soap in the bathroom, to the delicious home made yoghurt, the eggs and jams for breakfast. And also the possibility to charge our car (no fast charger). The bed is great as well as the bathroom. The family owning the mansion is lovely and doing their utmost to please their guests. We loved getting a peak of their daily lives watching the children in their pyjama's on this early Sunday morning. The behaved great, they we're even hushing to not disturb us Do not forget to read the story behind the life choices of the family in the room guide. It's worth it. We spent one night and could not follow the tips but I'm sure they are worth trying. We would not doubt returning when. We are in the neighborhood again

warm hospitality, house with charming family with three joyful, amazingly well-behaved young children and a beautiful black rare breed of rabbit, Carrote! the house’s second floor where there are five guest rooms was rehabbed in 2020 so it has all new bathrooms, en suite. It is decorated with pretty blue on white ,traditional, Toile de Joue prints on duvet, blue and white tile bathroom floors lots of pretty pillows but not fussy, in serene colors. it is utterly charming. our hostess is an excellant Baker and each breakfast she served a different French specialty pastry such as Madelienes, a fruit jelly traditional confection cake of Touraine, a sweet Burgundy traditional, petite cake. homemade yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice. The soft- boiled eggs are served in egg cups under pretty cloches.

Our bedroom needed a dehumidifier. While outdoor and indoor temps in 70s were perfect perhaps because no heater nor air conditioning was needed nor running it was damp.

The whole experience was excellent, greeted by a friendly husband, made to feel relaxed and nothing was to much bother. Given advice on location to eat for supper. Breakfast was also great, Above all else the House was superbly decorated. Thank you.

There was nothing we didn't like. There was a very handy folder in our room on the house and about the local area, restaurants etc, but all in French!!! A English version would be good as I know you do have regular English cliental.

I really enjoyed the lovely breakfast with home made tough yet and jams, fresh bread from the local baker, all in a beautiful setting. Good place when traveling by car as you can park in the garden. 20 mins from town with the tramway around the block.

It would have been nice to know about the possibility to order a light meal/nibbles and wine in advance after driving for many hours.

Comfortable stay for a family of 4 in interconnecting rooms. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cool and a good size and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. The location was easy to find with secure parking and there was a restaurant close by that we could walk to and avoid having to get back in the car after a day of driving. The breakfast was simple but tasty and fresh.

Incredible accommodations, the building is like a small chateau. Slightly outside of center of Tours, in a quiet residential area. Lovely, large airy room, high ceiling, large windows on a charming garden. Grounds are walled in from the street and adjoining buildings. Very calm and quiet, as a result. Excellent petit dejeuner with delicious fruit preserves made by Madame la Proprietaire/Gerante. Even an on-site parking spot for my rental car. Madame is charming and very helpful. Bathroom is modern and immaculate. Large comfy bed, etc. Ten minute walk to tram system that will take you into the center of Tours for restaurants and sights. Great value. Definitely coming back!

I liked everything.

Beautiful old property so tastefully designed and decorated. We loved our bedroom, so comfortable...so French. Lovely tea and coffee tray provided with chocolates. Frederick & Caroline were friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed a really lovely breakfast and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The hosts were very lovely and they provided us with a lot of tips and helpful advice. The entire house was so beautiful and amazingly decorated. It was located in a very quiet and peaceful area of Tours. Lastly, they had an adorable rabbit which the kids loved.

It was located a bit out of town, but it's good if you want to sleep peacefully.

Location couldnt be better to give you secure parking which we needed for our bikes but also very near the tram that takes you directly into central Tours if you want or easy walk to nearby restaurants at the shopping Mall. Breakfast was fantastic (too much for me!). Great welcome from the hosts and they were so quiet in the morning we nearly slept in!!

Wonderful old house, very tastefully renovated. Extremely comfortable bedroom with a lovely modern bathroom. Only 5mins walk from a tram station, giving easy access to the centre of Tours. Fantastic breakfast with delicious homemade food.
