Le Grand Pavillon Chantilly

The place is beautiful, we liked the fact that the different facilities were in different corners of the area so it’s more airy and gives you an opportunity to move around. It was a great choice for a short getaway from a city. What we particularly appreciated was the pet-friendly approach and facilities. We came with a cat and there was a sleeping basket and 2 bowls for food and water ready in our room. And the staff - particular shout out to them because we received the best service we’ve ever had in France. Really a huge added value to your stay when you come tired seeking a carefree pampering experience.

The hotel is quite big so breakfast is quite challenging for the staff. It needs better organisation. Also two out of three saunas were not working, which was a pity because we came for a wellness weekend.

The food was divine! We dined at Craft for both lunch and dinner on several occasions. the food was of a very high quality, and very reasonably priced! The breakfast offering was also very good. Was nice to have a buffet that didn’t feel like your typical hotel buffet! The croissants were *chefs kiss* Staff very attentive, anything we needed was no trouble for them! Great location for exploring nearby towns, Chantilly and Senlis are a must! (just don’t visit on a Sunday as most shops and restaurants shut for the day)

Nothing we didn’t like, we had an excellent stay!

We had a good stay in the hotel, we liked the location, the room was nice and clean and we loved the facilities such as the swimming pool and the kids corner. The hotel is well situated, it is in the calm and nature but Paris is also not far away (20 minutes by train).

We did not like the food and the restaurant. It was ok but not matching the price. The design of the restaurant is also very canteen like, we would have expected something nicer furbished, closer to the style of a 'palace', closer to the style of Chantilly. It is also problematic that one cannot get the room before 4pm.

The entrance of the hotel is far from the reception and you need to walk all the way through cobbled stone pathway making it difficult with luggage. Cars and taxis can’t approach further than the gate. Having employees at the front gate helping incoming guests would be very much attractive. The same for guests staying in other buildings rather than the main one where the same cobbled stone pathways make it a challenge not to ruin luggage wheels..

This Hotel and its location are superb. I have stayed here several times now and it's super location is only about 30 min north of Paris. It is great to have business meetings here if you do not want to drive into Paris. The hotel setting and location are also great for entertaining guests that arrive on CDG. The rooms are great, spacious and quiet and everything is brand new. Breakfast is not just a croissant, but a true large feast with something for everybody. I can highly recommend this hotel. And don't forget to take a peek at Chantilly Castle!

Beautiful property and grounds, with friendly staff.

Breakfast was lovely, however the dinner options were rather limited. The suite we was staying in was lovely but the cleaning was not great and had loads of cobwebs and spiders and a TV that did not work. When we raised this with the staff, they were very helpful and sent the cleaners round the same day to sort.

Breakfast was so good we didn't want to eat again until about 18.00hrs. Great variety, great value. Everything you could want.

This is a really tiny moan. I swim a lot and was looking forward to a pre breakfast swim, but the water was too hot to enable me to have a "proper" swim. Facilities in and around the pool outstanding.

Perfect location to walk to Chateau Chantilly. Wonderful pool/leisure complex.

What a disappointment to find you have decided not to continue with your evening entree/dessert buffet. Didn’t like being pestered to order dessert at same time as ordering main course. No one knows how they will feel until after finishing their main course

Not very good soundproofing Hadn’t realised it covered such a large area, our rooms were a long way from reception, along gravel roads But we were grateful for the electric buggy’s to move our luggage

Luxury interior, nice food. Good service.

We were less lucky that we met a receptionist who can not speak good English. She didn’t smile much until she processed our deposit. All other staffs are very friendly.
