Kyriad Chambéry Centre - Hôtel et Résidence

The hotel is close to the town centre. Shops, parks, cafes and all the main public buildings are within walking distance. The cathedral and the castle are also nearby. Our room had a small kitchen and the nearest supermarket is on the same street. Our room had a fine view of the local mountain. Chambery is a town where pedestrians come first and most car parking is underground.

Nothing.This is the place for a relaxing holiday.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room with kitchenette, excellent for breakfast. Easy to park. Close walking distance to the old town with excellent restaurants and bars. 15 minutes nature walk to Jean-Jacques Rousseau's House which is highly recommended. Will stay again when in Chambery.

No parking available in the basement (fully booked). Annoyed to have paid more than the internet rate for a paid-parking site opposite the street by using the Hotel's "discount ticket" as I didn't know the hotel charges for 24 hours even if you only parked your car overnight when the rate is cheaper. I recommend you do your homework to calculate what payment option will be the cheapest for you, to avoid the mistake I made.

Room was clean and cleaned every day, enough space and having the little kitchen facility was a great bonus. Coffee making facility was good. There was plenty of space in the room including wardrobe space. The location right at the edge of the old medieval town was perfect for exploring, two minutes walking from the centre including the shops, restaurants and facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Maybe a better sitting area in the bedroom, only one seat meant someone had to sit on the bed.

The location just òn the outskirts of the city centre and was perfect for us, the room was on the sixth floor with lift access and you could have accommodated 6 people, beautiful scenery from the Velux windows great place to stay.

The hotel room had good cooking facilities BUT no cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, tea towel and sponge. Also no tea bags as we only drink tea my partner went to 1st floor breakfast room and was told to only take 1 for 2 people.

The location was excellent in the centre of Chambery, We were really impressed with professionalism of the Reception staff, Noemie and Laetitia, who were very efficient in overcoming a problem we encountered. They were also most knowledgeable about the area, places to visit and restaurants.

Housekeeping attention to detail! Our basin was blocked and wouldn't drain; this must have been evident during the bathroom clean! There was no kettle, despite being listed on the facilities. We had to move apartments, and the second apartment had a kettle without a base! The front desk staff were very quick to remedy the situation.

Great location. Very comfy beds and a very warm welcome by reception staff. nice selection for breakfast. The kitchen evdn though we didnt use it was very clean and well equipped. great pub next door for. nightcap and people watching

Balcony could do with some outside furniture but to be honest it really didnt matter for our short stay. but if you have a room with a view it would be nice to use it.

The shower was good! The front desk staff was helpful and nice. Closet space was adequate. Good lighting. The mattress of the twin beds were comfortable but extremely narrow!!

The entrance is poorly appointed. No chairs of any kind up front to wait for a taxi or a friend to pick me up. To have the toilet and the bathroom separately is an inconvenience. The bedroom was too small even less so for two beds!! The towels were on the small size and not thick enough. The only toiletries provided were hand/shower liquid soap. I was on the 3rd floor and it was very noisy at night and early morning.

We stayed in a pleasant room that had a table and kitchenette. Everything worked well in the room and the internet was stable. The Kyriad is somewhat outside the main centre of town but close enough to the old area, where it is very pleasant to walk.

No toiletries. Tiny bathroom, although the room itself would have permitted something larger.

Good location, near old town and about 15 mins walk from station. Very friendly staff. Large buffet selection for breakfast. Very clean. Massive room!

Nothing major at all. We enjoyed our stay. Bed was much firmer than I am used to, but I did sleep quite well anyway. Hotel is a little dated, but little touches have kept it feeling fresh, like the artwork above the bed and updated bathroom units.

The guests for whom I booked the hotel had a good stay during their work trip. The hotel and staff provide comfort and welcoming atmosphere for the guests and they want to pick Kyriad for future work trips. I had multiple bookings for this hotel and one of them had an issue that was swiftly solved by the administration shortly upon I reached out for help.
