ibis Budget Boulogne Sur Mer Centre les Ports

The room was larger than some of the ibis budgets we have stayed in. The beds were quite comfy and good quality bedding. The location is fairly good. Just a few minutes walk to local restuarants. Secure parking. Breakfast was OK for the price.

We booked quite late. So I shouldn't complain about having to cart our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Plus our fan, as there isn't any aircon. 5€ to park the car. This is usually included in the price. No kettle in the room. But there was a drinks machine downstairs. The shower needs refurbing. Quite expensive for what it is.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and quiet location. Great food/snacking service

No bed side table in the room to put phone, watch etc on. Don’t understand why not but it was very missed. We booked partly due to having parking but was told when we arrived the car park was full apparently but the car park had over 10 spaces that night, all night, and we still had to park in the street. Needs to be a lot clearer if parking is or isn’t available and how to book it and who has priority.

This was a great stop for us on our way to Calais. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the old town and lovely shops and restaurants. We paid 5 euros to park the car in a secure parking and thought the breakfast was excellent value. The hotel welcomed our dog too. Would definitely stay here again

Good value in a reasonable position, rooms are more than adequate for a overnight stay. Breakfast is good value

The parking arrangements is inconvenient you need to pay before be given the access code this means car stuck in front of access gate to car park. I thought a better solution would be to prepay the parking fee and have the access code text or emailed on your day of arrival.

This is a budget option hotel just off the main road to the port. There is on street parking nearby or you can pay to park your car in a secure compound (5Euro). There is a fuel station on the next street at a reasonable rate. The town centre is about a 10 minute walk, where there are various ethnic food offerings at various price points. There is also a Carrefour supermarket three blocks along. The buffet breakfast is served from 6.30 most days so you can still have breakfast and the join the toll free motorway to catch a morning Eurotunnel train.

We used the hotel as a stopover on our way to the UK as it is only 30mins away from the Eurotunnel terminal at Coquelles. It was very nice to be able to park in front of the hotel for free (we didn't worry too much about anything happening to it in this area) and to walk into the old town and to the beach. Would stay here again...

Very secure parking area gated and fenced, although it was a small extra charge, there is ample free on street parking in front of hotel. Reasonably short walk to the delights of central Boulogne and historical centre

Hotel is very dated and fairly basic the area is pretty urban so situated between modern housing blocks.

The room was clean and well maintained, beds were OK too. Not spacious, but as expected. The location was perfect for us, close enough to the centre and yet, not too close.

The bathroom was less pleasant, mainly the strong smell of sewerage. The shower head wouldn't hold in position.

Staff reserved a ground floor room as requested. Friendly and efficient reception. Car park was available but not bookable.

No hot food in the breakfast but otherwise fine. We made the mistake of turning the heater in our room too high- our fault.

rooms are a great size, simple decor but fits its purpose perfectly. we stay here every year on our way back from Le Mans 24h and its a brilliant stop over on the doorstep of a beautiful town!

having to reserve parking ahead. street parking is free though and never had any issues.
