Laurent was just the most lovely and hospitable host, very welcoming friendly and smiley. The room was exceptional, big comfy bed and a lovely terrace with views over the mountains. It was a 3 to 4 minute walk in to Banyuls-sur-Mer itself with all its restaurants and bars, but still supremely quiet when you returned. Wine tasting was a treat and the wines produced onsite are exceptional.

It’s nearly impossible to fault this place, but my one minor gripe would be that the sofa bed in the lounge was a bit uneven and squeaky.

The room was huge and exceptionally well decorated with a dining table, seating area, piano, separate sinks with dressing area, large jacuzzi bath and a huge terrace with wonderful views across the foot of the Pyrenees. There was also a swimming pool which we had to ourselves for most of our stay. We had a large continental breakfast served on terrace which was bought to our room and set up for us when requested. There was also a well stocked wine fridge with some wines from the local vineyard who own the property

Magnificent room. Comfortable and well appointed. Huge terrace. Views to die for. Brilliant breakfast served on the terrace each day. Do try the wine produced on site. Everything was great and excellent value.

There was nothing we didn't like. A fridge for snacks in the room would be good as eating out every meal is too much! The wifi is very hit and miss.

We liked everything at Le Clos St Andre. We were warmly greeted and shown to our suite by the charming owner, Laurent. The quality of the accommodation is very high, stylish and comfortable. The location is ideal, right in the middle of Banyuls so you can walk to everything. We would come back like a shot if in the area again

The hosts we're charming and friendly. The suite was comfortable and clean with a large terrace. We enjoyed the pool (about 10m x 5m) The location is quiet with free parking on site but is also just a short walk to the beach and the restaurants and bars along the front.

I liked the fact that this is not a conventional hotel but offers 2 suites above a winery. Be prepared to carry your bags to the first floor and to phone your hosts so you can check in.

Pascale was lovely and very helpful. We had a bike so had somewhere to store them. Breakfast was amazing, taken outside our room, and even though raining it was covered. Very quiet place perfect to recharge. The room was beautiful and clean, bathroom large and again clean. Tea and coffee facilities. Even had a mini bar.

Beautiful quiet residential corner of the town; great to have just a short walk to the action. Sunday market a nice surprise. Fantastically spacious room. Good air con. Friendly, laid back manager.

We did feel sorry for the kind person who delivered our breakfast; she had to manoeuvre a very flimsy little trolley to reach the terrace.

Where to start. These guys have done all to make the the stay comfy! To begin with, the room is well outfitted and luxurious. The bed looks brand new and sleeps wonderful. The breakfast is fresh and delivered in your room. The room is quiet, no cars are driving past the premises. Short walk to the trainstation. I would reckon its a good value for money, especially compared to the other accommodations in the area.

Beautiful large room with a huge terrace, mass it feel like a villa. Great location in lovely town. Very friendly staff and the owner’s son who is also a waiter at the amazing Quintessence restaurant, was very friendly to our 7 year old

Thé staff was wonderful. The outside terrace had a magnificent view. We could walk to restaurants and the beach. Banyuls is the nicest quiet town on the southwest shore of France.
