B’O Resort & Spa

I book this hotel as a base camp for Normandy exploring and was excellent , good size room , great pool area , nice little town within walking distance , overall great stay for what I was looking for , good price too I didn't read reviews before booking , which I did after and I was bit conscious, turn out , staff speak english , they were nice and helpfull and some people putting reviews are just strange weirdos

To note , in fact there is no other TV chanells but French , I just checked as I don't watch TV it didn't bother me at all, funny thing with WI FI , my companion phone worked fine ,my didn't , but I had my mobile internet which worked fine, so agan not an issue for me

Lovely quiet location, relaxing , nice indoor adult pool. Small children’s play pool was enjoyable for our toddler, though some of the water jets could do with some maintenance . My main point why put a drainage slope in a child’s pool and not use non slippery tiles. But our room was ideal for our one night stay , wish we had more time to explore area. . We would stay again as you can either have buffet breakfast or order a takeaway pastry breakfast which was ideal for us

The fixed course main meal was bland and not flavourful in the fish sauce, but the buffet dessert made up for that, really tasty chocolate mousse with an orange sauce and a large selection of other desserts and cheeses

Comfortable bed. Quiet despite being busy Great swimming pool and hamman included in the price Huge towels and great robes you could take to the pool

No comfortable chair or complementary tea/coffee. No dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid etc. Any treatments had to be taken 10 minutes walk away in the main spa, as was the gym. Photos on their site are a mix of 'The BO Cottage' and the thermal residence and thermal spa so I found it misleading Evening meal in the restaurant was not the best I had during my holiday.

The room was fine, spacious and clean, and I could see having a long-term stay here. The carpet throughout the hotel needed cleaning, which isn't a big deal, except it's the first thing you see. The pool was amazing! Had no idea is was so great, really nice to discover. And the pull-out couch bed was really quite comfy!

It was very difficult to find. Everything in that town is called "B'O" something or another, and the listing on your website doesn't refer to it as "B'O Cottage", which is how it's called within the town. We ended up at the B'O Spa, which is totally different.

The access to the swimming pool is great, as well as the beds, and the accessible showers. The bread available for ordering is excellent. Nice people work here. Thanks for the mid-stay cleaning and changing of the lovely bathrobes. Thanks!

The dinner wasn't good value for the money. There were some problems with the pipes and some spaces had a weird smell to them, but luckily the staff was working to resolve this.

This was our third time staying here so we are obviously satisfied with the accommodation and staff.

We had dinner on one night which wasn’t very good chicken was undercooked and several items were unavailable for the sweet as we had booked a later time and there were items which weren’t replaced. However in mitigation there were only 2 staff serving tables and I think they were run off their feet as the restaurant was exceptionally busy that night.

Our family had a fantastic stay at BO cottage. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, we appreciated the convenience of having a kitchen at our disposal, especially when travelling with kids. One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool area. If you're looking for a family-friendly getaway, this place comes highly recommended. We can't wait to return for another memorable vacation!

My husband used the pool early as children were filling the pool up. He enjoyed his swim. Bed was excellent. Good sized room with garden view and access. There was a well equipped kitchenette but we did not use.

Dinner service a bit hit and miss. Short staffed. Only one member of staff spoke English in the dining room. On arrival we were told dinner was not available to us as they were booked up. Reception then decided we could fine at 6.30pm. We dined at 6.30pm but it was never crowded. Food was fair. Good buffet starter, hot fish main course on cold plates was OK. Needed more seasoning ? Puddings looked delicious. Breakfast was excellent and all together well priced.

Lovely aparthotel with an amazing pool complex (which was usually empty before 3.30 each day). Short walk into Bagnoles de I’Orne (downhill so quite steep coming back). Good kitchen facilities in each apartment.

Banging and crashing from delivery lorries early in the morning (try to avoid Forest view rooms as the other side of the hotel will be quieter). Hoards of wasps meant we had to leave our balcony door shut every day of our stay.

This was nice surprise on our way back from Brittany heading to Dieppe, excellent value for money rooms are spacious and great view, town is a short and pleasant walk away. The pool facilities are great and kid friendly, will be back again, wished we could have stayed for more than one night.

Breakfast was excellent but a little expensive, 38 euros 2 adult and 1 child.
