the staff was very helpful in orienting us and gave us a wonderful and precise overview over nearby sites. The adorable cats in the entrance were eyecandy. The room was nice, as was the bathroom.

A very old, comfortable, small, charming hotel in the heart of old Avignon. The location was ideal for exploring the sights. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived, offered a map and detailed information about the local area, including advice on places of interest to visit and restaurants. This made us feel valued and relaxed. The restaurant recommendations were excellent, we ate well. The room was comfortable and very clean, the bathroom was small but clean and adequate for a few nights stay.

Although there were a few options for breakfast there was nothing to accommodate my food intolerances. This is not unusual in a hotel of this size.

The owner was very hospitable and helpful. The room was very nice. Lovely crisp white clean sheets, good aircon, spacious, good bathroom, cute little outdoor space and full length mirror (which is something that is often missing in smaller French hotels or guesthouses and is needed if u are visiting to attend a wedding or something and getting dressed up!) The hotel was also in an excellent location. Easy to walk to with luggage from the train and then it’s only a super quick walk into everything you might want in Avignon.

The extractor fan ventilation in the bathroom was quite loud and was an auto timer which could not be turned off manually (so far as I could tell). It stayed on a bit too long after leaving the bathroom. It was annoying but definitely not something that would keep me from returning to stay at the hotel again. The hotel corridors could do with a lick of paint and better lighting. They are a bit dingy. The room was in excellent condition though which was main thing.

Charming old hotel in quiet back street of old Avignon within walls, near public transport, shops, restaurants, Tourist office, museums & most major sights. Short bus ride to Villeneuve-lez-Avignon across river. Clean, comfortable beds, decent shower, a/c, young lady helped with luggage: our spacious room (10) was on 2nd floor up steep stairs. Owner has 3 beautiful grey cats 🐱 !!

Beautiful place to stay, very cozy setting, close to the train station and with walking distance of all you need to see in Avignon. Our host was very friendly, we could leave our luggage early. Our room had a sweet outside terrace, a big bathroom and very comfy bed, was very quiet and air conditioned.Avignon was celebrating the Summer Solstice, music everywhere, wonderful energy

Excellent communication prior to and during the visit. The host was kind enough to let us leave a small suitcase with them for a week (while we were hiking in Provence). The host also gave us advice on sightseeing, trains, etc. The room was spotless! We had the "superior" room with a private bath. It was just large enough with a comfortable bed and a tiny terrace where we could leave the window open for the evening air. The bath was excellent -- a standup shower and large sink and ample towels. Great location, too. A short walk from the train station and the bus station. It's location within the walls of the old town meant that everything was close -- and still it was a quiet location. It was an excellent value and I would absolutely stay there again.

Nothing could have been better. At this price point it exceeded our expectations.

Location. The owner was very helpful about activities in avignon and other cities. An extension was provided for electrical equipment very useful for charging equipment.

Stairs to 2nd floor narrow and slope. Understand may be an old building but difficult to climb with luggage. Bathroom door only stays closed when locked on inside. Cats in reception not good for my allergy. Toilet seat not secure.

One of my favourite stays in France. The lobby/reception area was quite lovely and there were a few friendly cats casually hanging around as well. The hotel was superb and had comfortable beds. It was also located close to all the attractions; everything was within walking distance. Also, be sure to visit the Irish Pub right on the corner as their food was brilliant.

It had a really cozy feeling. Felt like I was walking into my living room and I loved the room in the attic. It was very quiet throughout the building and street but walking distance to the main train station so easy transport. our train was late so we didn't get to the hotel before closing but the manager left a key and sent an email with instructions and was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault! He also came back to check in on us after closing to make sure we had made it safe. In the morning he helped call us a cab and kept our bags safe. Excellent hospitality.

The ONE thing I could pick at is just that the air conditioner didn't seem to fill the whole room. It was cool but mostly just in the area where the air con was.

3 mins walk from the bus/train station. Very easy to find. Breakfast is good. The owner is friendly and helpful. You can borrow hair dryer from him and return the next morning. 3 cats are super cute.

The room is a bit tiny. No elevator so not convenient for travellers with heavy luggages.
