Le Ponteil

This B&B is nicely tucked away from the main roads, but remains central in location to be able to explore Antibes. The hosts were both lovely and informative, recommending a restaurant where we had one of the best meals during our stay in the South of France (thank you!). The hotel & B&B definitely has boutique vibes and the decor and furnishings reflect this. It was clean and enough towels were provided for our stay. A lot of effort has clearly gone into the upkeep and comfort of the garden area, providing a lovely place to relax and read or before going out for dinner.

My only criticism is that our room and en-suite were very small, and parking was an additional cost despite ample space to park on-site. Other than that, everything was great.

This small family hotel is located in a quiet road near to the beach and only a very short walk from the centre of Antibes - a perfect spot to stay. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to make visitors' stays as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Breakfast (extra) is very good and is served in the small garden. Everything is kept very clean.

The rooms are adequate but not large and ours had a strange metal contraption in one corner for storage and hanging - functional but not beautiful! We arrived to find we had been unexpectedly upgraded to one of the two rooms with a shady balcony which was a real plus and, without which, the room might have felt small. The en-suite bathroom was also pretty small but had all the essentials and lots of lovely hot water in the shower (although a soap tray and device to hang the shower head at head height would have been welcome additions).

This is a great hotel with a wonderful garden and within walking distance to the beaches. The room was very comfortable and well designed. The breakfast in the garden was nice each day. They owners were friendly and helpful. We were able to rent bicycles and borrow items to use at the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Bathroom is quite tiny, so be aware if you are a larger person.

we just loved Le Ponteil! lovely welcome with wine and olives on our own terrace, beautiful property with the most lovely hosts. a moments walk from everything, beach, restaurants, train and bus stations. fabulous breakfast! I’m trying to recreate martins granola but it won’t be as good as his! highly recommend this lovely hotel. do stay for breakfast, it’s magical!

The outside garden and lounge area are so peaceful and a wonder place to unwind. breakfast is nice and a great price. They rent bikes and snorkeling gear super readable. really everything you need. it is close by all the action but tucked away on a quiet side street so you can return to peace. And the host goes out of his way always!

Our room was great and the property is within a short walking distance from the public beach, an excellent location. The hosts were friendly and helpful, provided a personal touch and made our stay enjoyable.

The wifi didn’t reach our room, which was unfortunate, but we could sit in the breakfast and lounge area to connect.

What a beautiful hotel! It has very nice aesthetics and it is very close to the beach and to the old town, where you can go on foot. The owners are doing everything they can to make your stay pleasant - lovely people. It has a vibe of being in a very peaceful place and not so much as a hotel. I will definitely visit again and I totally recommend it!

The room I chose didn't have much light, which I hadn't realised when I did the booking. But in general, I was very satisfied with everything.

This property was really beautiful, surrounded by trees and plants. It was in a quiet but very convenient location. Our room was tastefully decorated and reflected the overall ambience… a charming little haven of peace and tranquility. It was also comfortable, very clean and had air conditioning .

It was small & cosy & felt like stepping back into a different era. Fabulous location. Very relaxed & relaxing.

it felt a bit run down. corners were being cut - e.g tiny portion of butter provided at breakfast. Room hadn’t been thoroughly checked before our arrival - e.g TV not working.
