Logis hôtel - La Chambre D'Amiens

Nice and easy to get to. Check-in was quick and simple. The room was the biggest double room we have stayed in this trip (total of 5). It was clean with a really comfortable bed and a HUGE shower. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice of the usual suspects - croissants, pain-au-chocolate, bread/toast, good selection of meats & cheese, juice, cereals, coffee and tea. More than ample to set us up for the next part of our journey. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is just on the outskirts of the town, and it was only about a 5-10 minute ride into Amiens, which was busy and lively. Make sure you visit the Cathedral. We would recommend and would definitely book here again if we are passing this way. Many thanks.

It does not have air-conditioning and the weather outside was very warm. You do have a portable fan in your room, and we had to have this running all night. Hotel can't do anything about the weather, so not a complaint.

Hotel is located on the periphery of town so there is a bit of a walk to the centre of things, maybe 20 or 30 minutes. However it is just off the motorway so it's easy to get to when travelling. Excellent free and safe parking on site. Staff were very kind and tried to accomodate us any way they could. No one seemed to mind that we could not speak French. Hotel was quiet and felt secure. Room was spotless, really impressed with how clean everything was. It felt like no one had stayed there before. Nothing was over looked by the cleaning crew. There were steel shutters on the exterior windows and doors of our room, this seems to be the norm in Amiens as most of the houses have them too. We found them to be a really great feature during our stay. They could be raised and lowered by the simple press of a button and made the room completely dark which great for blocking out the light when wanting to sleep late. The only breakfast option is continental breakfast but cooked eggs are available. We really enjoyed breakfast each morning, they have really aced breakfast. Pastries, cheeses, yoghurts and coffee of all varieties. Breakfast is self service so it was really relaxed and enjoyable each morning.

Location is a little bit away from the centre of things so you will need to walk a bit to enjoy what amiens has to offer.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large, with both a tub and shower. We also enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet. It was especially nice to have an elevator after hauling suitcases up tiny staircases at other accommodations. We lucked out and had a room with a deck where we enjoyed some wine. Free parking was nice.

The rooms need heavy curtains to block the morning sun! The location would be out of the way from visiting the downtown area without a car. A small fridge would have been ideal.

Second stay here and a much better room. Room had a patio door and window with access to a smalled enclosed grassy area, perfect for a young child to run around. Picnic bench in corner for guests to use too. Good to know for guests on the car park side. Gentleman on reception was very helpful, polite and professional. We tried the room service after a long drive, it was delicious. The hotel even lent us a high chair to use. Breakfast was simple but good.

The hotel has a night entrance / exit (rather than the main one), this is through the corridor of the ground floor, family rooms. Although guests were considerate in general, this had the potential to wake our baby and was a bit of a nuisance to be honest as you could hear the lift ping, the doors go etc.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed for 2 days and the room was cleaned nicely every day. Breakfast was good and worth the price of 11 euros. Staff was polite at all times. Recommended.

The reception is closed from 12.30 to 15.00. Although this is well communicated by the hotel in advance of the checking, it definitely detracts from a perfect rating.

Simple but good hotel, free parking, 5 minutes from centre by car and still quiet location. We liked the bed and the bath. Heated drying rack for the towels. Good insulation. Tea and coffee in the room. Good breakfast. Friendly reception and personnel, modern elevator

They forgot to put towels for two, but was quickly resolved, the remote control needed new batteries, but these were details.

Room with balcony. Spacious shower cubicle and powerful shower. Outside sun terrace with loungers. Easy access to public transport.

We were fortunate to have a balcony so could have the door open which helped keep the room cool. Lack of air conditioning could make the rooms uncomfortable in exceptionally hot weather.

Very clean modern hotel. Great for a stop over to break up long journeys. Very close to the motor but far enough that we could not hear it.. Nice little sun terrace. Amiens Town centre is about 25 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive

Very clean and nice rooms, with new furniture and a good design. Compared to other options in the city, good value for money considering also free parking just outside the propriety.

There was no air conditioning (just an air ventilator) and this was not evident when we booked. The shower head needed a bit of maintenance and the water went outside the shower box as there was no curtain or ‘door’.
