Fleur de Lys

We liked the swimming pool which was just the right temperature. Breakfast which was fresh continental and altered to meet our needs. Debbie and Gordon really go the extra mile to make your stay good. We liked having an evening drink in the barn with the pretty lights and their cat Smudge. We liked having the ability to store a few things in a fridge and cook if we wanted to, very flexible. We liked that there was a burger/pizza bar next door though it’s only open half the week.

We were kindly allowed to change rooms because the bed in the room we had booked had a bed too short for a tall man. We didn’t like the ivy on the back of the house because it made us fear insects though we didn’t see any. We didn’t like the smell in some of the rooms from diffusers.

We absolutely loved staying at the Fleur de Lys. The hosts could not have been more kind and generous, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived on bikes and were allowed to store them in the owner's barn, the swimming pool was fabulous and Gordon took pity on us and drove us into the centre of town so we could eat dinner and not have to get back on our bikes! 5* service - thank you!!

Lovely home from home b&b Really spacious rooms, very clean Brilliant hosts, such a lovely couple. The pool was an added bonus. It was lovely and very relaxing. The seating area in the barn was perfect for a drink in the evening and looked very pretty with the fairy lights. Great choice at breakfast. Well looked after. Perfect trip. Will definitely return.

Beautiful building, with amazing facilities . The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. The bed was the best sleep we have had !! The pool facilities were great. My favourite was the barn in the evening with beautiful twinkle lights and blankets if needed x We will definitely be back !! Gordon and Debbie were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean; had everything we needed. Breakfast was superb!! Garden and swimming pool looked wonderful but didn’t get to use them as it rained during our stay.

The decor, the large garden and barn area and the pool. All really lovely and beautifully decorated. It is right on the Euro vélo 3 route so very convenient for cyclists.
