All the lovely little touches, the central location, the friendliness of the staff, very comfortable bed, great breakfast.

Fabulous!!! Just what we needed after a long days travel. Stunning property, situated in the centre of town with a private car park, close to restaurants and shops. Beautifully decorated with taste and interesting antiques. Delightful host with good recommendations. Ate at an upmarket restaurant 2 minutes walk from the hotel gates. Rooms extremely comfortable with luxury bedding, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. I was very grateful for the large bath and had a much needed soak with lashings of hot water. Breakfast was above and beyond the usual continental. All in all a wonderful stay and will be staying again in the very near future. It was a last minute plan and I booked it from the airport as we were too tired for a long drive and I’m so glad we did.

This three star hotel is close to the center of the city. It is walkable. The room was spacious and clean.

No elevator. At checkout, we were able to leave our luggage until later in the day. Upon our return, I asked if I could use a restroom and was told there was none! Also, I asked the proprietor to call a taxi. It appears he tried and then announced none was available. When we got to the train station, there were 3 taxis available. The lady who works there is more gracious. It seemed like the fellow did not really want to be in the hospitality business.

Fantastic chateau hotel with the most amazing, beautiful and fascinating decor worthy of the best interior design magazines. Unlike anything else you've seen in terms of hotels. If you like design and architecture this is a gem of a hotel to visit. This is also the home of the owner, so it's a working family home as well as a hotel, with the family history sitting in the walls, and this makes it a really lovely, unique experience. A beautiful, quirky, charming chateau hotel in an urban setting, with a lovely garden area with plenty of parking, and space for outdoor breakfasts when the weather is nice. My stay was really comfortable in every way; a warm welcome, good advice and help, a quiet and luxurious, very comfortable room, super comfortable amazing bed, plenty of space, a large bathroom and my vegetarian option for breakfast was beautifully catered for with delicious food and excellent service. Very helpful and friendly hosts in a beautifully chilled out yet very professional atmosphere. English spoken and all questions / queries answered and catered for in the best possible way. Great suggestions for places to eat around town, and a brilliant, fun host who made my stay the best. I could not fault a thing, everything was really brilliant and it's a marvellous place to stay! A fascinating hotel and a lovely experience all round. Great price! Really great fun! Very highly recommended! Do try it!

Nothing! Everything was absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a trip.

This is a magnificent chateau lovingly maintained and is ideally located in the city. The beds were the most comfortable we have found during our 3 month bicycling holiday in France. The aircon wad brilliant and the massive rooms are presented to style. Secure bicycle storage was also provided. Breakfast was European but presented like you were the king and queen.

The location was good and parking was a big bonus. The owner was nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and it was nice to find a room with a bath :)

Although the hotel was no smoking the smell of someone smoking was strong especially in our bedroom

The hotel is in a great location in the Centre of Agen but has a distinctive old world chateau atmosphere created by the decor and being surrounded by older French artifacts. We had a delicious breakfast in the terrace outside our room with plenty of fresh fruit as well as the famous Agen prunes. The staff were charming .

Lovely period chateau in the historic town of Agen. Quiet and peaceful surroundings but close to restaurants and the centre, all easily walkable. Host friendly and helpful. Excellent continental style breakfast.

Perhaps having coffee machine/tea making facilities in the room although I'm sure the host would make you some if asked.

Pleasant large townhouse on a quiet square in the older part of Agen. Convenient for walking around the town and going to restaurants. Helpful and friendly owner. Lovely continental style breakfast.

Well located in the centre of Agen, easy to find with Google maps and parking on site. Very pleasant old building with traditional furniture which was nice. We were served a continental breakfast outside which was very pleasant. The room had air conditioning.

If being picky could have had tea/coffee facilities, although I expect the owner would have made some if we'd asked, but was a fridge with cold drinks.
