Sheraton Miramar Resort El Gouna

The hotel is recently renovated so the entire resort facilities are in very good condition. The landscapes are magnificent (many islands connected by bridges). The beach was quite nice with a nice playground. The activities on the pool kept my son entertained (thanks to Ibrahim, and the DJ man). Free parking is nice too.

1. No elevator\lift. So with a 3 months old daughter, we have to carry her and all her stuff and leave the pram downstairs. Other option to take a ground floor room but we enjoyed the view upstairs. 2. No proper coffee machine on the breakfast buffet. So you have to ask the waiters for coffee and you will be served with, in my opinion, low quality coffee. I believe those two things are no brainers for a 5 star resort. Those are the only things that stopped me from giving this resort 10/10.

What really made a difference was the responsiveness and the attention of all the staff, they are amazing

When I regrettably booked a beachfront room and sacrificed the full board lagoon view for the beachfront bed and breakfast... I was extremely disappointed that palm trees blocked the view... I couldn't enjoy a good view which I paid a lot of money for... An word of advise is to check the photos of the hotel elsewhere other than booking before making the decision ... And don't book beachfront rooms... They are not worth it and almost anywhere you would want to go is a 5 to 7 min walk

staff were perfect. Highly qualified and very friendly. Literally everyone from reception, to room services to towel centers to restaurant chefs and waiters.....simply perfect. Food is really delicious (we had all inclusive option and really worth it). Perfectly heated pool. Amazing beach.

As much as the room was great from the perspective of size, style, cleanliness, amenities. However, my room has an issue with the A/C ... I'm not sure , but it wasn't as cool as i prefer. The hotel does not have an animation team, which is annoying if you want to stay within the hotel premises only.

Too few toiletries and water in room to start with. Food area too crowded. Not enough variaty.

beautiful landscapes and design, spacious comfy rooms and very nice lagoon view, nice breakfast ,snacks and lunch. Heated pool❤️wonderful beach ❤️golf cars to take you around the resort as its really huge . Mr karim from the italian restaurant was such a gracious host and served such great cocktails❤️ I really had a wonderful vacation , would definitely visit again ❤️

balconies are so close to each other which was very uncomfortable, no animation team which is very odd for such a nice hotel, dinner wasn’t the best,night shows weren’t very entertaining.

Rudeness of one of the workers in the restaurant , insulting the guests - but that was an individual thing.

Hygiene during covid and all the covid measures put in place

Room bathroom with steps going up to shower was not good for my mum who had disabilities

The location is close to the Marina and Downtown. The beach is very good. The room is Okay but not the best. (Acceptable) The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good but we actually went to the Downtown to have dinner although we had the half board booked. The boat trip from the hotel was amazing.

The room bathroom is old and needs complete renovation. The hotel rooms need renovation too. No animation team on the beach.

Fantastic hotel with an excellent service.

When the hotel is booked, taxes are not given, but they make up about 1/3 on top of the booking price. I would prefer that yo be included in the booking.com webpage.

Sheraton Miramar is an exceptional, fabulous, and fantastic spot that brings a lot of precious memories. It is always our favorite destination. Special thanks to all the staff as being so nice and very much caring for our comfort and convenience. We appreciate the service of the staff on the beach helping providing towels and lounge, and also the staff serving on the lunch who made our stay is very special. We would like to have a special thanks to Mr. Youssef Nashaat, Mr. Mohamed Abdoulatif, Ahmed Fawzy, and Ahmed Dominica.

The only concern was in the many mosquitos that needs more attention, and the cleaning of the toilet at the check-in between the guests.
