Hotel Štacija

The hotel is located near the airport, but the planes did not disturbed us. The hotel offers a variety of tours directly from the hotel to the interesting locations around, such as Krka waterfalls, Blue Cave, wine tasting etc.

There was no couch in the room, just one chair. There were some possibilities to sit outside in the hall, but with the music and other customers it is a bit too noisy and busy. Regarding the full scale russian invasion in Ukraine, I would expect the hotel to ban russians, but there were some russians during our stay in the hotel, which made me very uncomfortable.

The hotel was inviting, with very friendly and accommodating staff (especially the waiters and Ana). The room was clean and the balcony overlooked the sea. The food was decent. Beds, pillows and bedding were comfortable. Definitely on the higher end of a 3*. Was pleasantly surprised. Only a 10-15 minute taxi ride to Split airport so it’s a lovely place to stop before a flight. Hotel staff kindly offer packed lunch boxes for early check outs and an affordable airport shuttle.

There was a little mold in the corners of the shower. The walls are a little thin so can hear some noises from other rooms at times.

We booked a room with balcony and sea view and got the best one - end of row with a window also to the side and a further window in the bathroom! The balconies are a great size, the rooms nicely furnished and spacious. We arrived at 10 a.m. from the marina and were offered breakfast (at only 10.- Euros each) and could enter the room at 11 a.m. already. The staff were extremely friendly and sweet :-) The breakfast buffet was fabulous and we also had a very lovely dinner at the hotel. There is a little bathing spot right across the hotel. The road along the seafront is quiet (not many cars), especially at night. There are nice historic places to visit along the seafront of Kastela.

Split airport is close by, so be aware that there are some airplane noises. However, we did not mind and the planes are in fact not as loud as one might imagine. The little bays and beaches close by are not too exciting but perfectly okay for a short stay or if not interested in a beach holiday anyway.

Awesome staff; very professional and communicate clearly (thank you Anna and your team :-)) Location is convenient as it is right by the water with lots of beautiful beaches within walking distance. Split is not too far. Used uber mostly so no comment on bus route. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable with a very beautiful view (3rd floor with sea view). Food is excellent; buffet breakfast with all you need to start your day. Dinner portions were generous and at an affordable price.

Location of Hotel was excellent. View from room was outstanding (sea view). Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Music in the bar although noisy stopped at 10PM.

Disappointed with no Air Conditioning available in room. It was reaching 30" C when we arrived. It was unseasonably warm however the Aircon didnt work at all. We highlighted this to reception and basically were fobbed off with Aircon has been changed to winter settings. They did offer a room at the rear of the property which may have been cooler but would not have the view/balcony that we paid extra for. Although it was far warmer than normal i would still expect a hotel to be prepared for this eventuality, ie a fan, etc instead we were just left to deal with it.

This is an incredibly friendly hotel, the staff were very helpful, kind and considerate. Breakfast is excellent, offering continental, but also cooked eggs by request. The restaurant is very good, food quality is high, the staff and service were brilliant. They helped my sons organise my birthday celebrations wonderfully. It was a real joy. Sitting outside at night, and having drinks, was an ideal way to end our busy days of adventures in Croatia. I have never wanted to return to a hotel before, after 40 years of travelling. But this one.... I would go to again.

Perfect location by the sea, great view and very Nice rooms. The staff was very Nice and helpful. Great parking for this location. Clean and fresh.

The restaurant had no good options for children. They did however try their best to make it more child friendly. If i could Wish for something it would be to have an iron in the room. The clothes look very messy after A long trip. But only a personal preference Otherwise nothing to complain about.

This waterside hotel has a 3 star rating but it is punching well above it's weight; I have stayed in many 4 star hotels that are not as good. It is clear that a lot of money has been invested in the property (all the decor and fixtures are of fine quality) but that is not the best of it - the staff, particularly the receptionists, are as helpful and charming as you could hope for, and the food is outstanding. We only stayed for one night but immediately wished it was much longer. Finally, it's a ten minute drive from Split Airport so the location is great too.

Pretty much nothing needs improving, the only thing I noticed was that the shower drains slowly, that's a reflection of how hard it is to find a fault.

Staff were exceptional. We went on a day trip and had to leave before breakfast so they packed us a lunch. They also allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived hours before check in. There is a very spacious car park at the back and a stunning terrace at the front. Location is stunning and close to a very new marina area with loads of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, dinner exceptional! Very reasonable prices too and generous portions. It really was the best hotel food we ever ate. Rooms were soundproof - you couldn’t hear the restaurant music from our room on the third floor. Not sure if we had guests in the room next door but if we did, we didn’t hear them anyway. The hotel was very clean in general too. The rooms had shutters which meant darkness in the morning which we love. We will come back again for sure and already have family members looking to book a stay too.

The mini fridge in the room gave off a lot of heat. The rooms have aircon but we couldn’t set it on a timer and didn’t want to have it on all night which meant we had to switch it off and then woke up early because it was 28° in the room. There’s a lot of mosquitos so we couldn’t leave the windows open either. It’s only a minor detail though.

The room was smallish, but had absolutely everything you needed., with a view of the garden. Air conditioning good, can cope with 40 degree heat. TV had modern films, dubbed, but you can still listen to the English with no problem. What was really lovely is that the outside restaurant looks straight out on to the sea, so you can sit under an umbrella and have a gin and tonic while watching people swimming and enjoying themselves. Hotel receptionist a lovely girl who made us feel welcome and helpful restaurant staff. Parking easy.

nothing really, we rated it very highly. It's a lovely place. The only thing was our sat nav didn't seem to know where the hotel was, and took us down a one way very narrow street the wrong way! But not the hotel's fault obviously.
