Dubrovnik Luxury Residence – L’Orangerie

The apartment was very spacious and was very practical. Two terraces. Very good cross ventilation. Comfortable beds. Daily cleaning. Excellent location. Beach, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, bus stop, excellent. Very nice and friendly staff, as well as very professional.

Having to look for parking spaces every day because they are not fixed. We arrived late from excursions and had to find empty parking lots but it was difficult. It is not a complaint but a suggestion that each apartment should have a fixed parking number. Everything else was exceptional.

We were booking a single bedroom apartment with a garden view, but were upgraded to two bedroom apartment with partial sea view, and it was a very nice surprise from the personnel since we didn't expect that at all - and everything turned out better than we even thought. A bowl of fruits was a small bonus, and it all was very thoughtful and kind of the hosts. The flat had everything we needed, including dishes, toaster and even the clothes dryer. Honestly one of my best experiences with booking apartments.

I hardly can remember if I really didn't like something, because I was really enjoying my stay with my fiance. Maybe it would be good to "update" the clothes dryer since the one we had was partly broken (but it didn't prevent the clothes from drying though), and one of the bowls and the pan were pretty scratched.

Thank you! We stayed at the property whilst we were getting married in Dubrovnik and rented out several rooms. All of our guests had a great experience and nothing was too much for the staff. From the moment we arrived they made us feel special. The staff were always there to help us and very friendly. They turned a good experience into an exceptional experience. The property itself was stunning, very clean, lots of amenities close by and the location was perfect - close to sunset beach, Lapad strip but also not too far from Old Town. We would highly recommend this property to anyone going to Dubrovnik!

Communication was excellent, the property is very conveniently located and has a minimarket , a gym, hairsalon, bar and a restaurant. Very close to sunset beach where we watched the most beautiful sunset. Also there is a vast range of restaurants close by to choose from. The bus stop is also very close because parking close to Old Town Dubrovnik is a hassle and too costly.

For some reason the air conditioning when turned on would bring the smell of cigarette smoke inside the apartment for the 1st hour and the 3rd double room was too tiny for 2 adults, best for kids up to 12 yrs old.

The apartment was clean, big enough for the three of us, located close to the sea and to the city center, only 10/15 minutes by car/bus from the Old Town. Essential things were already there (e.g. glasses, some pots, oil and salt, cleaning sponge, etc) and the supermarket is literally two steps away. The staff was friendly and nice, especially Carmen, who gave us fantastic recommendations for our stay. Would definitely come back! :)

We were three adults, two sleeping in the bedroom and the other one in the living room, with just one bathroom whose entrance door was only from the bedroom, so if you’re not that close with the other guests it could be embarrassing having to cross the bedroom where others are sleeping to use the toilet.

It’s beautiful place, near Dubrovnik. Around 10-15 min by bus . Bus stop is two minutes from the property . 2 euros per person . If you want to explore the city of Dubrovnik to the fullest, you should definitely buy a Dubrovnik City Card. With this ticket, you will have a free entrance to the Walls of Dubrovnik, the Natural history museum, The Franciscan Monastery Museum, Račić Family Mausoleum, Pulitika Studio gallery. Also public transport is included, so you not need to pay for the bus. And it costs same as the walls alone. Rooms are big , clean, very comfortable beds. Lavish bathrooms. Beach nearby. Lots of cafes. The staff was great. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions. Will be coming back! Thank you so much.

The apartment was beautiful, so spacious and spotlessly clean. Main bedroom and ensuite were huge. Other 2 bedrooms were a good size and shared a bathroom. Huge living and dining room and 2 balconies with outdoor lounge and dining furniture. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for our large family group. Perfect location right near Lapad beach and the bus stop to catch bus to Old Town Dubrovnik was right outside. There is a supermarket in the complex, a cafe and bakery downstairs. The reception staff were fabulous, going above and beyond, staying late to give us our keys when our flight was delayed.

We understood from our emails that there was a double sofa bed in the lounge room. This turned out to be a very uncomfortable and small lounge with a chaise up one end. My adult son was too tall to fit comfortably on any part of the lounge and was unhappy with this arrangement the whole 4 night stay.

Apartment was big enough for 3 couples. Location was good and enough store around to enhance our stay. The crew at the reception were very friendly and quick to respond to queries.

The safe was not working upon arrival and had to wait few hours to get the safe repaired (No spare parts onsite). Because it is rented as a three bedrooms, each bedroom should have a safe to use. The "second" bathroom shower head is always in operation regardless how you set it up. The internet signal is "mediocre" at time. We had to rely on my Cell Phone "LTE" as a hotspot to be able to use the internet. As our stay was for one night, we did not have time to start chasing customer service to get shower and internet repaired...!

There is a private garage where we parked our car and the property itself is professionally managed with a friendly, professional staff. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and everything was exactly as shown in the pics. The apartment itself was clean, unexpectedly spacious and had a full kitchen and a lovely terrace. There is a lively bar on the ground floor ( no noise in the apartment) and the beach is literally 2 min away, with great amenities. We used Uber to go back and forth to the old town and the waiting time was minimal. All in all, there was nothing I could really fault.

We were concerned at first because this was not listed as a standard hotel, but rather an "apartment". We were coming to a city that is new for us and would need help here and there in English. I was a bit afraid that they keys would just be waiting for us with no additional support. Not a problem! While there is no central "hotel lobby", there IS a help desk that is staffed full-time (closed at night), and the people working there are superb. They did a great job arranging for a transfer for us from the airport (we had a LOT of luggage and they sent the right vehicle!). The property is very convenient -- there's a small supermarket downstairs, ATM, a bakery, some bars/restaurants, and it's right across the street from the public bus that goes to old town Dubrovnik. A beach is one block away. (BTW, we were REALLY glad that we did not book a stay in old town itself -- any lodging inside the old town walls is going to involve walking up many MANY stairs with your luggage!) The apartment has its own small clothes washer and a fair amount of cooking gear (which I must confess we did not use!) Note that since this is an apartment and not a hotel room, it is not serviced every day, but staff did come in to make up the room and replace towels in the middle of our stay. This place highly recommended.

Nothing -- it was great! Department of Insane Trivia -- the free washing machine in the apartment offers about 600 different washing options and we never did really figure it out! (I'm sure the super-friendly staff would have been happy to help... we just never got around to it...)
