The best hotel ever!! Everything was amazing. We came here in our honeymoon and had the best experience, the hotel is really pretty and the location is great with a view to the volcano and the forest.. the room is absolutely WOW, the hotel is like part of the nature. The service was amazing, anything we want or need we just call the reception and they help with plesure. The staff is very frindley, always smiling and asking if we need something. we had a lot of conversations with staff members, they are all amazing. This hotel made our honeymoon even better. Thank you

The breakfast was delicious. The massage service was incredible. The patio was gorgeous, especially when the volcano came out.

The price is wayyyyyy too much for this property. I found other properties half the price that were just as beautiful. I think you are paying for people to be extra friendly and to be at your beck and call. If that's your sort of thing, go for it. I personally like to be left alone. The staff was a little over the top in my opinion, but hey again, if you like that sort of thing, go for it.

The property itself is surreal! From entering the gate to Amor Arenal to the time you leave, everything is taken care of, extremely efficiently. The staff is incredibly nice (special shoutout to Wilson, and to Bernie who was our guide through the serenity trail and was extremely knowledgeable and made the hike really fun!) . They have a lot of beverages and plenty of water complimentary in the room. Definitely the best place to stay irrespective of the weather. Its beautiful!

There was a good amount of confusion about our spa appointment. It was insisted by the reception that we choose the spa treatment upon arriving at the spa, but the manager at the spa just rushed us into decided something on our own and only explained the prices and not so much the differences in the treatments. Just a small setback, the massage therapists themselves were great and the spa is beautiful.

Villa / amenities / staff were awsome. The drinks / BBQ experience and pool bar were highlights !

Adult Only was not adult only. We saw teenagers and could here them scream for their parents from our room. Also heard loud music from the closest villa suspecting it was the teens.

We didn't believe in our eyes..so much beauty and luxury compined its difficult to believe vthat is exist..A retreat that offers absolute relaxation and tranquility... built in the jungle, completely in harmony with the natural landscape, gives the traveler the feeling of being in paradise.. As for the dinner we enjoyed it was truly an extraordinary experience that everyone should try.. Korean style barbecue with countless options and Serbia beyond all expectations.. Breakfast with a view of the vast jungle while enjoying delicious delicacies.. We highly recommend it to everyone! Unique experience

I stayed two nights here at the end of May, a solo trip. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and friendly the staff were, and the level of service. A special shout out to Jogebeth for always checking in and taking care of any of my needs! I was placed in unit 22, which is down the hill, quite a bit. I had asked ahead of time to get a room with an amazing view, if possible, even if that meant being further away from the amenities. And boy, did this room deliver! I think I had one of the best views in the property. The room is very spacious and clean, comfortable, with many different extra touches…a stocked mini bar (that you can use for free the first time, restocks are extra), espresso machine & milk frother, robes, hair dryer & straightener, dehumidifier, yoga mat & free weights, etc. The property never feels crowded, even though I believe it was at capacity. There are three small pools in addition to the warm plunge pool that is on each balcony. One note if you are thinking of coming here, this is not the type of place where you would come and just lay out on a lounge chair all day by the pool to get a tan, the chairs are hard and they don’t lay down all the way. Not to mention, you get quite a bit of clouds & shade here :) I did one spa treatment, and Clarissa took care of me with the Grounded Jaguar, wonderful deep tissue massage.

If I had one area where the resort doesn’t shine as much, it was the food… It wasn’t for lack of trying, the menus are very interesting sounding, and there’s clearly a lot of care being put into every element. But for me, the actual food itself, and some of the drinks just weren’t quite as delicious as I had hoped. I tried just about every combination of restaurants and times of day that I could. Stopped by the coffee shop and bakery frequently, did the complementary breakfast both with room service and then also in the restaurant one morning, dinner at El Rancho, as well as room, service, the swim up bar, La Jaranita for a cocktail, etc. My favorite thing at El Rancho by far was the fish tacos, recommend!

This hotel is exceptional. The very private casitas are exactly that, in a beautiful rain forest setting equipped with excellent coffee making facilities and an array of toiletries. The bed for us was also very comfortable! The restaurant food was delicious, we ate here for every meal over the course of 3 days and enjoyed it all. We also very much enjoyed the pool areas and in particular the swim up bar in the hot pool which is an excellent idea and under cover for those rainy moments! We were fortunate enough to see the volcano from the hotel and the view was stunning! To top everything off ALL the staff were fantastic from the gardeners to the servers to reception, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, nothing being too much trouble. All in all a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel which I would highly recommend!

This hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and our room was very private with a private pool. The staff was very friendly and would even offer us rides when they saw us walking along the main road. We enjoyed the daily yoga as well as the trails on the property. Making our way from Liberia airport to the hotel was easy with the help of our driver Carlos (+506 7170 9978). He speaks great English, picked us up from Liberia and drove us, and even offered us recommendations on which attractions to see while we were in La Fortuna! I recommend to anyone looking for a private driver. Even when he couldn't personally drive us, he set up rides and took care of everything so we didn't have to. Carlos was a big reason our trip was stress free.

Our view of the volcano from our room could have been better. There was a lot of trees obstructing.

Absolute paradise - rooms and service were exceptional. Staff went above and beyond in every way :) beautiful setting and we never wanted to leave! Shower overlooking the volcano is amazing. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. We are also both vegan and the hotel has a full vegan menu and went out their way to provide an amazing breakfast each morning :) also had plant milks for coffee / oatmeal etc! Very impressed.

The meals / drinks were expensive but we didn’t mind this so much as the service was so good. Could have a heated towel rail in the bathroom but that’s being very picky!

Wow where can I start ! This hotel is absolutely amazing and breath taking. Our room was absolutely amazing, room service was great, they were there every single morning and there is a night service offered as well. You could hear the jungle and the animal noises in the background which is great if you’re looking to be close to nature. The staff was beyond excellent, everyone was very respectful, sweet and very serving. It didn’t feel overbearing, but the staff was constantly asking if everything was OK, if there’s anything else they could do for you, how your day went with any adventures that you had planned. Breakfast is included with Zamora Reynolds day, the restaurant is grade A, there’s plenty of food options from American, Costa Rican to Mediterranean options. Everything taste very fresh, there is a fresh juice option every morning, and the waiters are absolutely amazing. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon I decided to book a honeymoon special dinner and wow it’s a five course meal, with your own private waiter and they decorate the bungalow absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend you do this. Overall everything Exceeded our expectations and we would definitely go back to the hotel

Only thing that I was really concerned about was the glass in the bathroom that has a small opening, I was afraid any bugs will come into the room.
