Bonanza Gold Motel

The motel is conveniently located just outside of Dawson. You can walk into town along a path in about half an hour. Most of the other occupants were workers, all very friendly. It was nice to have ceramic coffee cups and real glasses, as opposed to paper and plastic. The beds were comfy, and the shower had good water pressure. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave all worked well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower was good but the water temperature would change while taking a shower. It would be nice to have a kettle for boiling water. The TV worked, but the remote didn't, even after a staff member changed the batteries. We just used the buttons on the TV. There were a lot of smokers, but they smoked outside their rooms.

Staff were great and friendly. Location is about a 30 minute walk ( 3 minute drive) to town but if you go home at the right time ( about 1 am for us) you walk home with the Northern lights, how good is that! Walking tour from Visitor Center and tour of dredger about 10 minutes drive from motel ( ask at motel for directions) we’re both great and must do tours.

A little dated

A bit far out if you had no vehicle however the laundry was good and staff friendly and helpful.

We were there when it was hot so managing the room temperature over night was tricky. Otherwise good all round.

The staff was really great when I returned back from the Arctic circle on my motorcycle they were sold out but they hooked me up with another hotel in town. And speaking of motorcycles Phillip the handyman/mechanic really helped me out when I multiple problems with my bike including replacing a dead battery, mended up a cracked fender which had it broke on the road it could've led to tragic consequences. He got the bike up and running in a matter of hours I was back on the road.

This property was in a good downtown location. The river was just a block away, the museum was across the street. Many restaurants were within easy walking distance.

we were at the end of the building and since we were there two days, we walked a bit every time we wanted to go to or from our room.

NA! We just spend the Night only.

We were looking for a ground floor room. One of our family members had knee surgery and had some discomfort climbing stares. On behalf of the hotel this was the only room that was available.

Very friendly staff at the front desk. The young lady helping us was very friendly en helpful. she even returned a extra night of parking fee which we accidently booked. A+ Pretty also :-)

Great room with lots of room, full size fridge, stove and kitchen ware. Upgraded to King due to room issues with booked Queen. Laundry was available. Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful!

When we got there the room booked was not pet friendly. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. Where very helpful whenever we asked for something even though being short staffed because of COVID. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were spotless clean. Older hotel but nothing to complain about. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Nice location but a bit far to central Dawson City facilities. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. Nice to have laundry room at same building.

Dirt parking lots, get muddy after rain. Need to add gravel stones?
