Relais St-Denis

Eve and Christine at the front desk were wonderful, very friendly and helpful when we needed something. Always a sweet greeting and smiles morning ,noon or nite. Nice room size and nice to have a lil table and kitchenette, fridge , plates/utensils etc. Comfortable bed. Grocery store and coffee shop about a 3-4 min walk, basically across the street. Every morning would grab coffee and have breakfast in room. Location to town was great, close walk as well , nice not to have to drive to dinner or a stroll. Also a quick drive to Le Petit Train du Nord and other trails for a nice day of hiking. (Alfred-Kelley Nature reserve was a beautiful hike and only about a 10-15min drive to the Prevost parking area) We didn't use the outdoor hot tub, or pool, but there seemed to be lots of others taking advantage of it. Plenty of parking All and all we did enjoy our stay very much..

Will say upon arrival first impression was, " It needs some sprucing up (fresh coat of paint outside as well as inside)". Radiator covers in the hall way were hanging off, and cud use fresh carpeting ( or at least a good steam clean). But room was clean so that's important ...

Outdoor heated pool is great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, good size, beds are pretty comfy. It's great that there is a fireplace in the room. Walking distance from groceries, restaurants and St-Sauveur mountain. Great for a family vacation. Very reasonably priced.

This is our second visit to Relais st-Denis. The rooms are in need of some renovations: balusters (room divider) in the room were loose. The kitchenette faucet was leaking, the toilet was leaking, the hand towel hook was broken... Otherwise the room was well equipped and very clean.

Very nice place but the people are not like in central america or south america, even asia, aiming to help people, here is a real business, it is like a beautiful whor... you get for what you pay dont expect feelings

The pool was not busy, and very nice and warm, along with the hot tub, accessible . THe resort is close to everything, well situated, well handle during covid for sure.

THe fact the toilet smell strongly of urine, on and around, I had to wash it, did not want people to come in. Not did I tell until we left. THat needs to be addressed. Us ladies plan on returning hopefully, with a deal, 3 nights for price of 2, when possible. We do miss a restaurant on the premises, even if it was limited common foods, desserts coffee, soup /sandwich!

The suite offered much more, beyond our expectations. It was a very large suite, very comfortable and clean. Check-in was very quick and we were greeted by a friendly and professional front desk clerk. Check-out was also very quick and efficient.

Two points however were negative. The hotel doesn't have an elevator even though it has two floors, and nor does it have a small restaurant on site, which would be great even if it was only open to offer a continental breakfast. If these two services were present, this hotel would be exceptional!

The room and hotel had all the amenities one could want. The best part was the staff. Elizabeth, Eve and Alain were always smiling, pleasant and very helpful. They spoke English well and, when I needed anything, I never felt I was imposing. They are the reason our stay was so comfortable and pleasant. The location was excellent - lots of restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

I liked everything. No complaints at all!

I had a very large room, and the bathroom was huge compared to other hotels; it had a jacuzzi (which I didn't use) and a large shower. There was a visual separation between bed and sitting area plus desk area; there was a kitchenette as well which came in handy as the restaurant was closed (probably due to Covid). The supermarket around the corner had everything, and everything in Saint-Sauveur was at walking distance, although the Relais is not in downtown. It is in a very quiet location, and I could hear my "neighbours" minimally: perfect!

Unfortunately, I did not have the time to check out the pool!

The swimming poll and the Nordik Spa(Large hot tube) is amazing, the staff is so friendly and the rooms very comfortable with Jacuzzi, Wood fireplace and music in the bathroom! the location is exceptional!

Great room, in a central, quiet location. The room was well organized, with a good bed, a high-quality TV screen perfect for watching French language movies., and even a jacuzzi. We visited in the summer, but jacuzzi would be great in the winter after skiing.

No breakfast, but it may be a plus. Rather than having an OK breakfast, we went to one of two good patisseries in Saint-Sauveur, and had a great breakfast with croissants there.

Great place: comfortable furniture and nice kitchenettes. Location cannot be beaten. Plenty of space in the common rooms. Nice outdoor pool, big tubs and showers, stately furnishings. I would stay here again on holidays.

Forgot an ice pack in my fridge - and they should convert the fireplaces to fake electric fire sets; those are cheap to install and are great, providing a bit of heat and nice ambiance.
