Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square

Cleanliness of the hotel, 5 star appearances, lobby, hallways ambience & lighting incredible experience. Layout of the room was exceptional the designers should be commended due to the absolute comfort of the room, optional mini bar & snacks were an incredible thought. Location was incredible, walking distance to so many venues even close enough to check out the St. Lawrence Market to load up on favorites.

Lack of hooks in the room for jackets & towels and possibly milk or cream in the mini fridge for tea or coffee.

- the housekeeping team was excellent. no matter what time of the day and night I leave my room and press the housekeeping button, I come back to see my bed done and the entire bathroom and bedroom cleaned immaculately! they operate 24 hours around the clock and this is pretty rare for most hotels - at the breakfast/dining lounge I got free coffee and didn’t have to pay because I didn’t eat anything at the buffet. super kind waiters and kitchen staff! - the rooms are spacious and had a round sofa with an ottoman, plenty of space to lay flat two large suitcases and more. desk is long and has usb chargers and outlets on the side, perfect to do your makeup - windows can be open as air can be quite stuffy in the room - amazing bathroom design with abundant complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash of a good brand - body lotion and hairdryer included - spacious wardrobe to hang your coats - compartment to place your carry on while it’s open and fits perfectly

- one of the receptionist/lobby lady was kind of rude, I heard her making racist comments about my name but the rest of the staff were sort of helpful, could be better though considering this is 9/10 hotel on booking.com - the lobby leading to the rooms were sort of dark and could have more lighting (it felt like going through some trippy matrix scene) and doesn’t compliment well with the design of the hotel

Everything was amazing. Room size and suite was perfection. I was most impressed by the front desk staff named Hannah (may be incorrect spelling) , however, she really went above and beyond to make my partners birthday special. She was very sweet and accommodating. I’m a big customer service person, so she definitely increased the probability of me staying here again.

There wasn’t an iron in the suite, which we found to be funny, considering all of the other amenities and upgrades to the room

A suite with everything one would expect from a top notch hotel which is perfectly placed for a visit to the Rogers stadium and several other attractions. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

The decor in the suite was a bit dark and dingy, with whole walls "decorated" with black concrete panels, the very dark carpet and low level lighting made the black, smoked glass coffee table a bit of a death trap for the shins. My trousers bear the bloodstains to prove it.

Perfect location to explore downtown Toronto by foot or Uber. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, having fresh made omelets was a bonus. The filtered water on every floor was a very nice touch. Rooms were quiet, the only noise came from out on the street.

Valet parking was busy and it was a bit of a wait, there was multiple events that weekend. But after I checked in, someone was available and parked my car right away.

We went to the hockey game so the location can't be beat. The staff were exceptional. They opened doors for us and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the restaurant after the game for some food and drinks as well. Made for a very smooth and easy trip.

The price is high but i imagine that due to the location and if you want good staff etc. it costs so I guess if I have to pay a bit more for great service i will do that.

Here are the positives - Location, friendliness of staff, shower, room, and breakfast, oh and casting was a nice touch Here are the minor negatives - The traffic outside our room, lots of honking but I guess that is TO. The bed also slides a lot, had to constantly move it back into place. Again, very minor complaints would stay here again 100% I would also like to thank the hotel and staff for the nice anniversary gift they had there upon our arrival, was really unexpected

The room and ambiance of the entire hotel is amazing. The bed room interior is one of the best places I've slept in. The staff met and over exceeded every need I had. For example, I came in late one night (2:30am) and they had room service come to the room to pick up the food to heat it up for me! Will def stay here again. One of the hidden Gems of this hotel besides location is that its connect to a liquor store and grocery store.

My overall stay was amazing. BUT!!!! the only issue and I mean only issue I have is for the rooms to be so priced at what they are, breakfast is not included. But even thought breakfast is not included, the selection that we had to pay for was not very different from a Holiday Inn. We paid $30 for powdered eggs, greasy bacon, potato's and fruit. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance that offer steak n eggs for the same price.

This was a gift for my daughter’s 50th birthday and the concierge and staff went above and beyond to make it special for her!! She was so surprised and blown away by the extra touches… the balloons, macarons. Everything!! Thank you so much!!

Not one thing! It was perfect!!! The location was perfect for her basketball game that evening. They were able to walk and explore the next day!! Perfect!!

Kindly moved us from noisy street room to quiet room on courtyard

Not our style. Picture featuring dirty shoe bottom in the room. Marks on rug looked “slimy” Why did they not put us in better room first? 2 rooms had coffee makers not working (ours and our son’s) maintenance agreed -not just us. Breakfast service was slow. Moved us to room that did not have walk in shower. My husband could not get in high tub.
