Retro Suites Hotel

We did not avail ourselves of the Continental breakfast. The meals we did have ( lunch and dinner, were exceptional). We arrived very late ( 8:30 PM) but the restaurant cooked a delicious full meal for us even though it was nearly closing time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel were amazing both to look at and stay in with everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and the best towels and a stand in shower ( no tub to step into) appreciated by 2 very senior guests. I could go on... for a small town hotel your place is amazing. Who wouldn't want to stay in an art gallery for the night...

The pillows were lovely but too large and not soft enough. The lack of a window in our room was a bit disconcerting so we will have to book a different room the next time. Really " what's not to like"

I was awestruck at my room, 210 Easy Rider. I took so many pictures and then sent them to my friends in Ottawa. The mattress was awesome. I was fascinated by the shower head. So cool. The hotel is totally RETRO. I could not stop taking photos and again shared with friends. I will be making a book of all my pics from there.

There was some kind of noise like a thump followed by two thumps every 2-3 minutes apart. I just put a pillow over my ear. I did not like the pillows as they were too soft for my liking. Maybe if two were soft and two were firm then there would be a choice.

We booked 2 rooms as a family. A loft room, which was large and sensationally furnished. The 2 room was a simpler room, but also stylishly furnished. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended. The front desk friendly, the rooms nicely furnished and clean. The bathrooms clean and spacious. If we are in the area, we will definitely book this hotel again. The quiet and effective air conditioning systems should also be mentioned positively

We loved everything. We ate breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and had a drink at the bar. The staff was exceptional. The most impressive was the decor...above and beyond. It was like staying in a museum. Every turn in the hallway, we were stopping to admire art or vintage items. Incredible. We will be back!

I wish that the bar had been a little cozier. It didn't really feel like its own place, but rather just an extension of the restaurant. I was hoping for something like an old library, leather, and dim lights. But hey, you can't have it all!

We really loved the retro decor, the Easy Rider Room has a great large shower with consistent water pressure and temperature. It was a perfect size room for two. The check in and out was effortless made easy with friendly polite staff. Parking was also convenient just steps away from the entrance. We look forward to a return visit. We love motorcycles so it might be a new cool yearly destination.

It’s was certainly no fault of yours, however urban renewal construction woke us up at 7:00 or 7:30 am on the side street parking lot asphalt repairs only to stop fully at 9:00. This is kinda a bummer when you plan a much needed get away! Oh and in all my hotel stays I have never had the cleaning staff knock on my door an hour prior to check out to clean the room. One would think a quick call to the front desk by staff would determine our check out status.

We were put in the rock and roll room, which was awesome. Had lots of memrobelia and what not relating to rock and roll. Was pleasently surprised with the small balcony it had attched to room, being a smoker and all.

Was dissapointed when I tried to rent room for another night, they were completly sold out. Good for them but not for me...lol

The decor is absolutely amazing! I love that each room is different and the art in the hall ways. The room the wedding was in was absolutely gorgeous. Then staff very welcoming and helpful. Definitely planning a few trips back. The cowboy room was amazing. The mattress and pillows were super comfy.

I kept getting lost when going to my room. The bathrooms beside the ballroom were a bit dirty on the toilet seats at night and in the morning. There was not much lighting in the room, a lot of little lights.

Really enjoyed the room. It was very big and loved how everything is retro. By far the best hotel I had ever stayed in. Can't wait to book another room soon. Next time the girlfriend and I are gonna book the log cabin room.

My only complaint would be no swimming pool and no hot tub. Other then that everything is perfect. Like i said can't wait to book our next room.

The decor throughout the building was incredible - unlike anything I've ever seen - unique art and historical vintage items throughout the halls. The room-service food from the restaurant was perfect. The only thing I would say is that the queen sized bed was not the most comfortable -- but everything else about our suite was above and beyond. Will definitely be staying here again.

This is lovely boutique hotel furnished with so many unique ‘retro’ art pieces. The room we had ‘the Den’ was so spacious and was well equipped with tea/coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The staff is professional and attentive.

The hotel is wonderful but no breakfast is served Monday to Friday in the adjacent restaurant. However there are two cafes serving breakfast a short walk away.
