Best Western Dartmouth Hotel & Suites

I love the breakfast, the staff are very friendly and the space is very clean. The 2 queen beds in our room were average in terms of comfort. The waterslide was a huge hit!

We got a room with 2 queens and a pull out couch and I had the worst sleep of my life on the pull out couch, the mattress is only like an inch thick and my lower back felt like it was sagging through a hole while there was a bar accross my shoulders. It will take a few days to recover, I am sure. Surely, since they charge much more for the pull out couch to be an option, they can make it decently comfortable.

The morning breakfast was fantastic- good selection, attentive staff. The pool was nice & clean but some need to police the misbehavior of some guests. We used the laundry facility and loved that it was available for use. Made a huge difference when trying to pack for 14 days in the area.

The rooms are a little dated with some uneven floors hiding under the carpet. The bathroom did not have a fan, which is odd, and the space in the bathroom is pretty tight even for one person.

The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable! The staff was friendly and the room service was delicious and affordable! We liked the splash pad area

The pool was VERY crowded with children getting hurt and parents not paying attention. There should be a limit, I was told there were 400 people there and it was very over crowded causing unsafe conditions. I understand it was March break and there were teams in town but we specifically chose your hotel for the pool and we didn’t get to enjoy it. We would have much rathered have been given a time where we could go and enjoy it. Something should be done about this, it was very disappointing.

The double room was massive! Both rooms were very clean upon arrival. The breakfast was fabulous with tons of options. Even though it was busy both mornings there was plenty of options for good warm food. The staff was fabulous. Front desk super helpful with anything we asked and extremely friendly. The staff in the breakfast area were also amazing. The pool area was small but we knew that going there from the pictures, that being said it was warm and clean and the waterslide was a hit with my daughter and myself. I loved that there was a restaurant in the lobby. We ordered food the first night and brough it up to our room, the serving sizes were HUGE and everything was absolutely delicious, even my picky eater enjoyed picking at all our meals and tasting everything.

Pretty well everything was great. One thing I noticed was the hosue keeping staff was not overly friendly. I smiled and said Hi to multiple and didnt even get a Hi back. One lady also hit into me instead of walking around me and didnt even apologize. I understand it was a busy weekend they had hockey teams and events happening so it was probably a mistake out of rushing to get her work done but a sorry or excuse me would have been nice.

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean, nice, stocked, large and quiet. Pool area was great with lots of towels available. Breakfast was offered although I was unable to try due to schedule. Check out was easy and quick. Location is and not ideal. Close to the bridge and easy to find with your cellphones gps.

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was also no stationary or pens in the rooms. Perhaps walls scones over the beds instead of the lamp on the nightside table, not enough room with the alarm clock, too crowded but yet an empty table in the room with nothing on it oddly placed.

Your staff is amazing, they were busy but handled all clients with respect and were efficient at their job to make sure everyone was happy. The tall lady with glasses that overseen breakfast was exceptional. I only wish I remembered her name. There was a tiny issue on check in with availability of our room, but that was taken care of by the desk manager.

The fan in our bathroom didn't work at all Room 237. And the toilet paper holder was very floppy and should be tightened or replaced.

Room was big and clean, comfortable beds and pillow, quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. We stayed 4 days with other friends to attend the dance competition, our kids were happy to be all on the same floor and did enjoy the swimming pool. Location was perfect and close to stores, gas station, Zatsman sport Plex…

- would have liked a micro wave in the room - price per night was a bit high

We got caught in hurricane Fiona. The hotel lost power so they did the best they could with breakfast including bringing in hot coffee and tea and then as our flights back had been changed three times they moved us to an excellent neighbouring hotel that had electricity, hot water etc. They also honoured our agreed rate for the unexpected extra night. We were well looked after. In the hurry to leave in the dark we left clothing behind, which they bagged up and were able to hand back next day. We were very grateful for this.

The proximity to shopping/restaurants. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and water slide were a hit with the kids! Rooms were clean and comfortable.

the bathrooms don’t have vents taking out the moisture from a shower which left our bathroom walls literally dripping after each shower. The breakfast was not well organized/clean and unfortunately not considerate of social distancing. At the time of our stay breakfast was super busy, items not readily available and tables not cleaned after each seating.

The staff and facilities were amazing. Very clean, very friendly, well staffed. There was free coffee all the time in the lobby and the free breakfast was very well stocked and fresh every day.

The hotel was somewhat in the middle of nowhere. My room for some reason didn't have a microwave and the others did, which I found odd.
